This place is a all-you-can-eat meat lovers haven!

Each table has a attached grill at the center of it. When you are first seated, they give you some sauces, kimchi and large loosely chopped lettuce heads with shredded carrots to nibble on.
They have two options between a select choices of meats on course A (~$20pp) and course A+B (~$30pp). Needless to say, it is a pretty hefty price so aim to eat for your moneys worth. The meats were very fresh, savory and flavorful.

The staff walk in with a large plate of uncooked meat that can seem off-putting at first. But once the grill is on and the meat is cooking at your tables you are set to go!

    Be patient though.

You don't want to grab uncooked meat, usually the servers will come by check up on the meat and serve you when it is ready. But if you are impatient like me, you could pick off the grill for anything that "looks done". I don't advice this for all, since there is huge risk of consuming unprepared meat.
So, just wait for your server to give you the OK if you are not sure.

Anything "spicy" is spiced with kimchi which is an acquired taste if you are not used to it. The dips that they give you for the meats are pretty tasty and can go with virtually any meat you get.

But be wary, they do have a policy that they will charge you extra for any wasted meats that you don't finish.

Like previously said, I find that the male servers are more friendly and responsive if you ask for recommendations of "good meats". They will generally give you their own personal favorites which are pretty good.

I have not tried it before, but they have two different sized karaoke rooms that are paid by the hour. If you are interested in a karaoke after your meal with friends, feel free to ask and they are more than willing to accommodate if they aren't already taken.

The dining experience is definitely a social one. There is a lot of wait time. So bring some adventurous foodies that bring along good conversation and you will love it!

I know this spot does have a lot of positive reviews from a lot of people. I will agree about the positive reviews when it comes to their food. Their meats were excellent and full of flavor. Add all you can eat in there and it must be perfect.

Here is the draw back and why I give only two stars. Their service and promptness to assist was awful. Once you place in your order, the food comes fast. However, if you want more they are terrible. Eye contact, raising your hand, or calling for them does not work. Download a desk bell app on your iPhone/Android and ring it. They'll respond quicker! I really felt uncomfortable after awhile like they did not want us there. You feel as uncomfortable as a kid whose about to stand up and leave the classroom but has a boner and wore sweat pants!

I went to Sura for the first time on Mother's Day and was pleasantly surprised with their quality of Korean BBQ. The service wasn't that great (some of the waiters/waitresses don't speak much English), but it was fine. Almost everything we got was delicious, although I have to admit that their menu setup is pretty confusing -- although they're more than happy to try and explain it to you. We had a great time in a big group, and I would definitely go back there again.
