Surfer The Bar

Great bar to hang out while at the resort from around sundown. Good events including concerts, talk story sessions, even club nights. Not a bad spot but def. come for happy hour. Good priced cocktails and pupus from 6-7pm.

Food is sub-par, and wasn't impressed with the menu items. They ran out of two different items I was hoping to order. Then they brought us our appetizer after dinner because they had issues making it....it was a shrimp cocktail; how hard is that? Then they didn't even comp it or give us a discount for the hassle. Drinks are sub-par as well. I had a mojito and it was horrible. Atmosphere and decor are wonderful! There was live music and the decorations/view were great. The manager was nice and friendly though, but the waitress had an attitude that suggested she would rather be anywhere else but there. I wouldn't go back again, especially because the prices do not match the food/drink quality. You would be better off heading into Haleiwa or going to Ted's.

With limited options in nightlife here, we visited Surfer The Bar for some grub, music and fun.  The food here was terrific!  I had a burger and others had pizza, salads, etc.  Everything was great.  Drinks were flowing and our table of 6 ladies made the party!  We took over the dance floor with the live music.  Fun times!! ...and I've got lots of pictures to prove it!  ;)
