Sweet & Savory

Haven't met a soup, sandwich, or salad I didn't like at Sweet & Savory.

The service isn't 5 star -- basically there's one or two severs regardless to how full the dining room is. On more than one occasion the kitchen or server slightly botched my order...but obviously not enough for me to stop coming here.

Recommended for breakfast or brunch. Can get busy on weekends.

Last, my college graduation cakes were ordered from S&S and they were FREAKING AMAZING.

Outstanding lunch, brunch or breakfast.  Fresh, unique and fun.  Try their catering too and you won't be disappointed.  We just moved close by and I'm thrilled we can visit more frequently.

Yet another great replacement for Panera on the north side!  We went to Sweet & Savory today with a group of seven and I was quite pleased.  

The price range of sandwiches was from $6 - $9.  I ordered the portobella sandwich which was pretty delicious though maybe not at $9 sandwich.  I was able to substitute in wheat bread with no problem which was nice.  A few others got the rotisserie sandwich and they all loved it.   The side of fries is huge and crispy if you like fries but I opted for the homemade chips which were also great.  I don't think anyone left unhappy with their meal.  And they split the checks with no problems!  

I was a little confused as to who our server  was because it seemed like they switched part way through the lunch.  Also, it did take them a few minutes before they noticed the 7 of us were sharing 2 menus.  But other than that, I was fine with the service.  

We had almost made it out the door before we noticed the desserts...I ended up with a s'more brownie that basically melted in my mouth which is what I'm going to tell people when they ask how I ate it so fast.  I will definitely be going back!
