This has become a great "go to" place for my family. Wonderful selection of food that pleases the whole group (and trust me, I've got some picky eaters in my squadron). Food is locally sourced, which is cool....but only if the food is really good....which it is. I've been at least a dozen times and enjoy it a great deal. Engaging staff, fast service, and the one time they prepared my meal incorrectly, they took it very seriously and fixed it immediately. Oh, and did I mention that I always feel like I got a great bargain here? With the menu options (which some are slightly upscale) I feel that I am paying 50%-75% of what I would in most restaurants with similar items. I will be back again and again.

Ordered the bleat sandwich- and was missing the avocado. Since when do I need to audit my sandwiches for missing components? Sorry , but for 7 bucks I expected more than two pieces of grilled wheat bread, with a sorry piece of lettuce, tomato , two slices of bacon, a fried egg and avocado they forgot. Boring Boring boring! Was excited but will not come back.

This is a great place to stop for lunch. Try to get there before 12:00, you'll thank me.

You order at the counter and take a buzzer. You retrieve your food from the "kitchen". Be sure to grab silverware, napkins, straws, salt and pepper or else you'll be walking back and forth a lot - I've 'seen' people do this before :)

The service is very quick and attentive, I always ask for a suggestion from the cashier as the special is normally very solid.

Try the strawberry magic green tea!

I've never sat on the patio, though it looks like a relaxing space to hang if you've got one of those 1.5 hour lunch breaks

Bleh...I hate that I have to give this place a two-star rating after the great visit we had back in January, but this reflects our lunch experience yesterday.

It's just not a good sign when a place is busy but your food is ready even before you make it to your table. It was either going to be pre-made or thrown together quite quickly.

The asian chicken salad was definitely pre-made, with the cold bowl just having been taken from the fridge and cold dry chicken on top. Suggestion: chill the bowl and salad ingredients but top it with warm, juicy chicken and not end pieces with fat and/or skin. The other ingredients in the salad - peppers, edemame, mandarine oranges, peanuts and the lettuce - were all fresh and tasty. The soy-based dressing was a bit too salty.

The pot roast entree my husband ordered was like an open-faced sandwich served with mashed potatoes. The serving was smaller than we thought it would be for the price and it just didn't look freshly made. And my hub didn't care for the blue cheese sprinkled on top of the potatoes.

It's just disappointing to pay $20 for lunch and walk out still a little hungry.

We'll keep our future visits limited to the bread pudding, which when tried previously was out of this world good.

Easy stop right off the highway. Food was fresh and they seem to put an emphasis on local sourcing. It's design is that of a casual cafe. We sat at a table in front of the fireplace. The soda fountain serves Boylans instead of Coke or Pepsi. Yeah for that choice!!  They also had Izze in a bottle as well as some other beverage choices.

The Stout Burger was very good. The soup special was potato carrot. I found it on the salty side, but it still had a nice flavor. The pimento cheese in the sandwich of that name was clearly homemade and very well-done. I had a soup and veggie side combo, and chose green beans as the side. There were lots of 'em, and they were crisp and not overcooked.

Prices were quite good, with lunch specials running about $6.99  We all commented that the signage in the restaurant was very helpful. They tell about how things run (take a buzzer and wait til they call you to collect your tray, bus your own table, etc.) in a subtle yet funny way.  We also liked the uniform T-shirts with the farmer and a giant table fork rather than a pitchfork!

My husband and I ate here today for lunch. I was a little disappointed when I first walked in because you actually order at the counter and then sit down. That disappointment went away as soon as I had a good look at the menu. There are alot of really great choices. The prices are reasonable and the service was good. I ordered the "Bleat" (which came with kettle chips) and carrot-tomato soup. My husband ordered the the Southern Pot Roast with Stout Beer Sauce and a salad. The Bleat was AMAZING! How can you go wrong with avocado, bacon, and a fried egg??? The kettle chips were actually pretty good as well. I added a little drizzle of vinegar to them and they were yummy. My soup was really quite tasty and perfect for the cold! My husband also really enjoyed his meal. The portions were a good size. One cool unexpected extra is that they have several tea options (not just sweet or unsweet). I had the strawberry tea and it was soooo tasty. My husband had the cucumber water which was refreshing. This may not seem like a big deal, but it was nice and unexpected! :) I think this is a nice casual place for lunch. We enjoyed it and will return to try some of the other options on the menu!

Ok so the guys at Fatz figured out that people like eating local. This is truly a great place to eat. You have an enormous menu to choose from and anything you order seems to taste as if you made it at home.

Love Pepsi and Coke? Well this isn't your place.......they are off the menu (good Riddance) and are replaced by a delicious local provider with better flair and taste.

The family and I went to check this place out because we heard from a friend that it was really good. So we packed up in the car and had to go see what this place was all about. The ambiance is very nice and the customer service was great. The food we ordered was good. What bad thing can you say about a place that makes their own ketchup and serves cucumber water. My kids finished all their food and they are very picky.

I loved this place.  The atmosphere is really cute, and I really appreciate the local goods and food that they offered.  The employees were really nice and friendly, even though I stood and stared at the menu for like 10 minutes because I couldn't decide what to get.

The service was extremely quick (about 5 minutes), but I also went at 4 pm, so it was kind of in between meal-times.

I ordered the "BLEAT" Sandwich, which was a BLT with a fried egg and avocado, with a side of their homemade broccoli slaw.  The sandwich was outstanding, with big strips of crispy bacon and no shortage of avocado and tomato.  The broccoli slaw was tangy, but not my favorite.

The prices were also really reasonable, especially since local fare can tend to be a little more expensive

I would definitely go back! I would also recommend this to anyone who is new to Greenville. Good service, good prices, great food!

I stand by my original.  There is NOTHING here that would make me want to go back.  I don't know why they have a TV.  The place is a "din" of noise so you can't hear it.  If you don't like to be bumped into by other patrons, or pick up your food at the kitchen window like wait staff, then stay away.  They don't know what the word seasoning means.

What a fantastic place.  When we first walked in we were taken aback because it is a place you order your food and then sit down.  However one peak at the menu (which is both on a board and in paper form in the front made us want to stay.  The choices are endless and the prices are as if they are from a decade ago.

We had a table for four and ordered a feast.  Do not let the low prices fool you, plenty of food arrives.  Shrimp and Grits were fantastic.  I mean fantastic.  Meatloaf was divine as if from a fine dining restaurant.  The "Bloat" sandwich was an out of this world take on the BLT.  The Asian Chicken Salad was delicious.  The side dishes are well worth it such as the Mac & Cheese and the small plates are anything but small.

The food was the star here and each dish was better than the last.  For dessert we had the bread pudding which is a GIANT bowl for $1.99.

Add to that the service is wonderful as people are checking to make sure you enjoy yourselves.  Sure you clean the table yourself, but that is a small price to pay (takes 2 seconds to bring your plate to the bins) for food this good at this kind of price.  Locally sourced food to create a fantastic menu has us begging to go back each week.

My wife and I eat out a lot, and have tried many places since arriving in Greenville, this is our new favorite and we will be going back quite a bit.

Absolutely fantastic!  We had a party of four with some very picky eaters and everyone cleaned their plate.  There was not one thing we didn't like.  The portions are large and the prices are low, this is a place we will return to again and again.  Highly recommend!

This is my new favorite lunch-y place in Greenville, although I'd eat there for dinner too. The black-eyed pea cakes were especially delicious. The farmhouse burger (with a fried egg on top!) is also awesome. Four different kinds of iced tea to choose from, which are all very tasty. If you like places like Panera but are in the mood for something new, I'd highly recommend it!

Locavores unite and go to Tablefields! Very cool lunch/dinner/wine bar concept where everything is locally sourced--from ingredients to decor--even the art on the walls is from local artists. LOVE that.  I stopped here for a quick bite during a day trip in Greenville on business, but would love to return in the evening for dinner and a glass of wine.  My vegan black eyed pea cakes with guacamole were healthy and tasty, but the side salad stole the show: edamame, radish, black barley, and farro salad, with grape tomatoes, and shredded carrot--tossed in what tasted like a very light sesame ginger vinaigrette. Tablefields, please come to Atlanta! In the meantime, I'll be trying to re-create that side salad at home.

You get more value and a better experience if you just wadded up a $20 bill and threw it away. The grilled cheese didn't contain enough cheese to fill a mousetrap. The meatloaf sandwich contained far more bread than meat. They ask you to pick up your order when ready. To ad insult to injury, the then ask you to clear your table. The bus tray was filthy..my advice. Stay away. Their profits must be huge. As p.t.barnum once said, there is a sucker born every minute. My 30 seconds are up.

Lots of variety on the menu. Ordering was fine but clerk didn't offer my sister her water glass and she had to go back to get it.

She ordered Asian Salad with grilled chicken NO oranges. I ordered Goat Spinach salad with grilled chicken.

Nice atmosphere - but her salad had oranges and mine was missing the chicken. When I got the chicken it was cold - so was my sisters. Now when I order a salad and add grilled chicken, I always presume my chiclem will be hot or at least warm.
Not much goat cheese or peanuts on mine and my sister's salad was pretty bland.

As we were leaving my sis used the restroom and was upset. The first stall was horrible and needed immediate attention and didnt' have TP. When she finished in another stall and washed her hands - there were no paper towels.

Probably not going to make a 2nd visit.

AMAZING!!!  You place your order at a register, take a buzzer and have a seat.  Once buzzer goes off, you go to counter to get your food.  We ordered a burger and the BLEAT sandwich (bacon, lettuce, fried egg, avacado, tomato).  We all loved our food.  My husband is a huge burger guy, he said it wasn't the best burger in the world, but definitely was very good.  He had chips as a side.  Normally, I'm not a fan of chips as a side but these were awesome chips.  They had a little bit of a garlicy satly flavor, couldn't place the flavor exactly.  All of their sides are made from scratch.  The BLEAT was amazing.  I seriously can't wait to go back for another, but so  many other items looked great that it will be tough to choose.  I had the broccoli slaw as a side, it has a creamy wasabi flavored sauce... quite yummy.  And the prices are sooo unbelievable.

Had the parmesan encrusted chicken with potatoes. Fresh and very tasty. Looking forward to a repeat visit to this new place.

All I want to say is "Food, Inc."   Every employee should watch this movie - and manager. I was shocked when a manager did not know what GMO's where. Really? Time to use the cliff notes...    Very excited about the farm fresh eggs and the local tea and coffee. Been there 3xs and every time there's another issue that arises from LACK OF KNOWLEDGE (register use, prices, lots of confusion). I know this will be a great place once these kinks are worked out. LOVE the causal atmosphere mixed with clean food concept. Thank you,

Excellent restaurant. You've gotta try it . Had the black bean cakes, dd had skirt steak and mom had turkey.  All were really good. Nice atmosphere prices were good too. Although you order at the counter the food is served on real plates with real silverware .  Great place to stop before a movie as it is right by Hollywood cinema. Give it a try they use local foods too!

We visited there last night and weren't overly impressed.  Our items ordered were, Spinach Goat Cheese Salad, Portabella Burger w/ Mac & Cheese, Chicken Wings and Broccoli Slaw.  There was barely any toppings on the salad.  It was simply a pile of spinach with maybe two strips of bacon and MAYBE 1/4 oz of Goat Cheese.  The dressing tasted good, but i only had 5-8 drops!  My friend had the Portabella Burger, the flavor was nice, the bun was not toasted (which i find when you use a frozen bread product it should be heated in some way, otherwise it tastes like frozen bread) It was just missing something.  The first mac n cheese we received was dried out and there was even someone checking the food that came out!f  Finally the wings, they were really good but a little tough.  The Broccoli Slaw was really great, could've used more Wasabi, but I like spicy.

The atmosphere they are trying to create is really great!  But the food is the most important element and I feel they are missing the mark.  These folks also own/partner  Tavern 24 and Fatz.  I really like Tavern 24 and in the past two weeks have been there 4x.  Fatz although really never was my cup of tea.  Nothing wow'd me there and I think Tablefields is going the same route.  Not every restaurant is for everyone, so maybe this one isnt for me.

I went there for lunch.  Had the asian chicken salad.  Best salad I have had in a long time.  I will definitely be returning.

Went to an early dinner on it's opening day. They refurbished an old Atlanta Bread Co. and it looks amazing! It has a fresh market, hipster art deco feel and the food was fabulous. I had the antipasto plate and their version of the BLT but without the fried egg and with avocado. Yum. They have a large selection of boutique beers but I was driving...I think it would be perfect for that dinner that you bring a bunch of friends to-lots of room inside and a very pretty outside eating area with a fire pit. Try it!
