Taco John's

I've missed Taco John's ever since the one in Bloomington closed several years ago.  My wife has great memories of going to the one in her dorm.  Decided to grab a bite here to go down memory lane.  Super authentic?  Well, not exactly.  But tasty.  Taco and Tater Tots, what's not to like?  This location is very clean and the staff was fast and friendly.  I was surprised at how tasty the churro was, though I admit I'm no churro expert.

Taco John's is a good Mexican fast food option.  I generally get the Super Burrito and some potato oles, but the Grilled Burritos are good too.  Since I'm a vegetarian, I usually sub beans for the beef, and the staff are all very accommodating, and always get my order right.  Their sauces are nothing to write home about, the 'hot' is definitely not spicy at all, but I generally just use my own stash of hot sauces at home to spice things up a bit.

Ever since new management came it's a much cleaner restaurant. The food have always been great, much better than taco bell!
