Tacos are now $1.50; and are a real value. I had barbacoa and adobada mainly to try them out. They are the smaller soft type. I did not load them up with extra at the taco bar because I wanted to taste the meat (that was scrumptious). I wasn't really hungry, just wanted some hot meat on a 90+ degree day and I 'd been snacking on iced tea and macaroni salad. I will DEFINITELY return for a larger meal in the future. The place is very clean and the other diners seemed to be families.
Totally fantastic place, Â my husband and I loved the food so much we had it two nights in a row! The tacos and sopes are so tasty and fresh. Â My husband had the quesadilla with carne and it was very filling. The salsa bar has a great selection with nice big lime wedges, not like those gross shriveled limes at Baja Fresh. The service is friendly and fast, super fast! And you can't beat the prices- last night we got 6 tacos, Â 2 sopes, a quesadilla, and a side of crema for $21! We haven't had tacos and sopes this good since our latest trip to Mexico, so it's a guarantee we will eat here often.
Review Source:This place is fantastic:
1. $1 a taco for high quality tacos (tried the Carne, Pork, Lengua, Barbocoa), $0.50 for real guacamole, $0.50 for sour cream, and $0.50 for cheese.
2. Glass bottles of coke, jarritos, etc...
3. Fast and Friendly Service
4. Takes all credit cards including American Express.
I adore this place and go here at least twice a week. Â Gigantic authentic tortas stuffed with meat, dollar tacos, fast service, great salsas! Â It's amazing. Â If I could ask for anything more it would be that sometimes the salsa bar is a bit scarce on salsas and the dining room is a bit small. Â Other than that, it's amazing.
Review Source:lobby can sometimes be a little awkward since there's not really enough room for people entering and people to sit. however, this place is still 5 stars because their tacos are amazing and they're only a buck. cheese and guac on your tacos costs extra, but they charge according to how many tacos you're ordering rather than a flat fee.
