Tailgaters Grille & Drafthouse

Food took a very long time to come out to our table. Portions were very small for the prices. Also quality of the food didn't match up with the cost. I wouldn't go back or suggest to friends.

We have been regulars at Tailagters for their $1.25 crab nites. I can live with their set of rules and the auto 18% gratuity, I cannot accept the poor quality of crabs we have gotten there tonite. Even the waitress admitted it was not up to their usual standards, She tried to find a few heavier crabs to help out but we left after having 18 crabs between us feeling ripped off and starved!  We had had decent crabs in the past, disappointed and really don't know if we will be back. No email contact on their website. the $2.99 side salad was also miniature. I remember getting a nice square plate with a  good selection of salad mixings previously, this was in a small plastic bowl with a tiny cup,of dressing.  Sorry to cross this off our weekly list

So my original review may have been a little harsh.  Tailgaters has once again become a regular hangout for me.  The food is pretty good and the staff is friendly.  There are great bar specials just about any day of the week on food and drinks.  There are also a multitude of TV's that will typically have any sporting event on you would like to see.  They have 2 Golden Tee machines now as well.  I guess when I did my original review, I maybe had one too many bad experiences, but have had nothing but good times since I have recently started coming here on a regular basis again.  If you are looking for a good place to get decent food and drinks, check it out!

This used to be a regular hangout for me but something has changed over the years. I'm sure I have changed in the past 10 years, but so has this place. I still stop in occasionally, but it is never my first choice. As this bar has expanded, the service has progressively gotten bad. Maybe it is because I no longer know the staff like I once did, but it seems like it always takes awhile for me to get a beer here. The servers also have to be flagged down in order to get them to bring you anything, including your check. A good server should at least check with you occasionally, especially if they repeatedly walk by you. That is just my opinion though, as many people seem to enjoy this place. But more often than not I usually have about a 10-15 minute wait with no beer, unless I flag someone down when I still have half a beer left.

This bar often does bikini and lingerie contests. I guess that is cool if you enjoy hanging out with a bunch of freshly 21 year old guys getting wasted, being obnoxious, and pushing to get glimpses and pictures of scantily clad women as if they've never been to a local pool or beach. On second thought, I guess it isn't just the really young guys doing that.

Not all is bad though. The food here is pretty decent and the food prices are reasonable. They have good pizza and strombolis. Subs and typical bar food round out the rest of the menu. There are also lots of televisions which always have some form of sports on. They even have some decent live music here from time to time.

Not a place I will hangout all night, but I don't mind stopping in once in awhile if friends drag me there.
