Waterway Bar & Grill

I went here a  week ago.  I found the food to be ok, but the service was passable. I had a steak angry shrimp wrap, which was pretty good.   I would go there again in the daytime,  as there have been 2 shootings /deaths in recent years in the parking lot after dark.

I've been coming here since 2006. I'm slightly embarrassed to say that I have never had a better burger. Out of everywhere I've been, out of all the $30+ burgers I've tried, I'd take their burgers any day. Steak Caesar and wraps are also pretty good, better than expected.
The barbacks used to be cool, but things have changed-- most of them are boring and very inattentive. The servers are very nice and keep the areas outside the bar tended to pretty well, even when busy. I won't go here unless it's warm out, because they have piss-poor ventilation; even when I was a smoker I wouldn't sit inside.
The area is pretty unsafe, I'm sure if you live around here you know about the muggings and shootings, and if you don't you can look it up. There are also bums outside a lot.

Pretty boring sports bar next to the water.  Nice that they had some good beer choices, but everyone working there seemed like dudes I would definitely not want to hang out with (i.e. big dudes with shaved heads and ugly beards).  Basically, the bar is pretty lame and the door men seem pretty bored.  Guess I was pretty sleepy when leaving the bar because I walked past the bathroom and the doormen felt like they needed to escort me there.  I could hear them laughing at me after leaving.  Just because I decided to wear a snoopy sweater and go to a lame bar while half awake does not mean you have to hurt my feelings..
Anyways, being laughed was actually a bit amusing after leaving (hence the 2 stars), but I would not recommend this place.
