Club 19

Very good sound system, there's some money in the stage lights as well. Saw 2 bands (my nephew was the drummer in the 2nd band). Clean, under control, reasonably priced.

Underage clubs are not the norm for my idea of 'nightlife' but last night I visited Club 19 for the first time. It honestly was the nicest venue I have ever seen anywhere near York PA.
It is definitely geared toward the new  youngster scenester whatever-sters that are the new generation of music fans appreciating live music, but I really enjoyed myself anyways.
The place was IMMACULATE! Spotlessly clean and shining. That was a nice and unexpected change of pace.
The staff was friendly and completely in control of the crowd inside and outside, again a nice change of pace in a city where managing crowds usually equals some fat assed bouncer dicking around and getting drunk.
The stage was a nice size and the sound system was really amazing.
The bands that played this show (only 7$ a ticket...very nice) were all very talented and although most were young, they were certainly no amateurs.
Hanged Man, Leave of Absense,  The Snails, and Render rocked and made this 'Gala Event' the highlight of my week.
I can honestly say this was the most low pressure, relaxed club I've seen in a long time. They even has a little candy stand (how cute). Loved it.
