My brief dining experience at Tea Garden occurred during the aftermath of a big blackout, so I'll omit the slowness of the service from this review until I visit again in the future.
Overall, I'd say that the food in general is better than average. I had the beef and broccoli, sesame chicken, and the egg roll and I thoroughly enjoyed all of them.
My only worry is that the portion sizes seem a little smaller than what I'm used to at other Chinese American restaurants and there seems to be a slight discrepancy between the dine-in portions and the take-out portions, especially with the servings of rice. They're also a little more expensive.
Still, the quality and taste as a whole was satisfactory. 4/5
