Normally once I have a bad experience I don't go back, but my friend actually likes their sweet potato fries we tried it again. Â We had the same issue!!! The bill was wrong again. Â What was on the menu to what was on the bill was a $8 difference. Â If anyone ventures over to this place make sure you double check your bill.
Review Source:Love this place. Â Restaurant is dated but clean. Â We've always had great service and the food never disappoints...granted, we've only been here for breakfast. Â It's one of the reasons why we drive all the way from NY to get our car serviced; drop off the car for an oil change, grab breakfast, stroll through town and we're ready to go. Â One caveat that I'd like to add is that my standards for diners may be a little low. Â NY has terrible diners....I have yet to find one I like. Â Most of the diners I've been to in NJ have been great. Â For me, it's about the food and cleanliness of the establishment. Â I don't need anything too fancy beyond that.
Review Source:I came here with my boyfriend last night and had breakfast for dinner. They were very accommodating and the waiter we had this time was quite nice. I know that there have been issues with some of the older waiters, but ours was young (around high school / college age) and understanding. He even told us that we were more than welcomed to stay after we paid for our meal - something unusual as most restaurants these days try to get you in and out of the place as fast as they can.
Food wise, I'd stick to classic diner food. Some basic breakfast plates are really tough to mess up, and the diner's paninis and sandwiches are generally good. I'd say stay away from the seafood; though I've never tried, the chance of those meats being fresh is rare, since most people don't order seafood here. Tonight, this place earns 4 stars because of the service and the standard food, which wasn't bad but was not wow-worthy in any way.
