Frontier Room Tavern

Not a bad place if you know what to expect. This is your basic no frills neighborhood joint. Dark, dingy and dated but oddly comfy and familiar. The food was average.. nothing spectacular but decent. BF & I both had burgers and they were good. Fries were decent as well. In the end, decent value for the money.

This place needs a total makeover. If your into dive bars than this is the spot for you. Staff is friendly bartenders are good. Burgers are charbroiled which i love but the portions are a little dainty for my liking. Food isn't bad but this place could be SO much more.  Change your thinking change your menu change your bar= bigger crowds and more coin in your pocket. 3 other makeovers for bar/restaurants in Dumont in last 5 6 years have had great results maybe its time.

I like that this place is *not* a five-star establishment by any means.

Dim, wooden, and Christmas-lighted, it's home to all kinds.  I am happy regular neighborhood bars like this still exist, because so many of them are gone.
