I love this place because it's right next to my house. My friends and I can easily get a beer and walk home.

The first time I came in here, the waitress was extremely friendly. She let me try a beer I wasn't familiar with and was so accommodating. Even if you don't want a full glass, they have half-pints (?). I love them because you can get different varieties and not completely fill your stomach with just one kind!

I came here a little late and wasn't too hungry, so I didn't want to scarf down the mac and cheese. It sure looked/smelled delicious. I'll be back to try it!

Also, this may sound weird...but the bathroom was pretty cool too. Definitely a SF vibe to it.

I've seen this place change for the better a few times. Food is phenomenal, service is friendly, prompt & attentive. Customers from the neighborhood are just casual good people. And if all that isn't enough? Pick a nice day in the outer richmond (there are a few) and drink your beer or whatever cocktail you prefer, on the back patio while playing some ping-pong (smokers welcome here). Haven't had anything but a good experience all around here.

Don't let the beautiful outside fool you :), this is a real dive bar, which is GREAT! Let's start with the food. Incredible chef Paul (great name) serves up the best and lightest crab empenadas in the world....period, the end. The fish (cod) and chips is huge and delicious! The jalapeno BLT is overwhelmingly tasty and, despite its  huge size, goes down easy because the Texas Toast is so light! The pulled pork sandwich is outrageous, as is the baked brie with garlic cloves. The double cut pork chop is killer, but with the corn and  all, was too much food for me. There are so many more things to try, I order something different every time. It's near stinkin Lincoln Golf Course, and is also on the way home for me when I play at Harding or the O Club. Abbey is totally cute and flirty, which adds to the "ambiance". There are lots of friendly neighborhood locals to watch Giants games with and a nice selection of unusual beers. Abbey makes a good margarita, but I ask her to leave out here secret ingredient (fresh OJ).
There is an outside back for smokers and the whole experience is SF funk. Don't miss it!
