Telly's Place

I used to go here as a student all the time. So since we now live down the street, i made my husband take me for old time sake.  
Disappointing. I had the taco salad and a side of the seasoned fries. Both smelled and tasted like old grease. Ewwww.
My husband had the burger and fries. Burger was mediocre at best and the fries were like cardboard. I for one, am not a fan of cardboard. or greasy salads....

The food is good enough to get by but I don't go here just for food. I go mostly for the drinks. The bartender, I think his name is Jimmy, is awesome and makes the best drinks around. My girl loves her specialty martinis and believe me, they were unreal. The superman one tasted EXACTLY like superman ice cream. It's uncanny. But the food isn't awful, as a matter of fact, the perch sandwich is the best perch I've ever had and I'm a fisherman.

Overall, go in, have a drink at the bar and get a perch sandwich.

Just ate the daily grind with blue cheese and bacon. Best burger I've had in a long time! Cooked perfect with the perfect amount of blue cheese, which is very important with this cheese. The douche two reviews down that ordered the sliced beef sandwich (which if you know anything about anything, you DO NOT order unless you're at a sandwich place that's known for it) needs to get with the program. This place is very good and very reasonably priced. I will definitely be back. The service was great,  but I felt a little out of place surrounded by a bunch of trying-to-look-like-they're-twenty fifty year olds drinking their bud light and white wine on the rocks. If anything, it actually made for a good laugh. Highly recommended if you're a typical middle-aged east sider looking for some good food and a drink.
