Good Thai is in short supply in this area and Thai Seasons does a very nice job of it. Nice decor. Friendly service. Good food at a reasonable price. Worth the visit for sure.

For a Thai restaurant I thought the food here was quite bland. The peas and carrots in my Chicken Panang seemed canned. Also no condiments on the table to spice things up. When I asked the waiter if they could make my dish spicy, he looked at me like I was asking for it to be radioactive. This is apparently a Thai restaurant for people that don't know what Thai food is supposed to taste like, but like the idea they are eating at a Thai restaurant!

I love Thai season. Their catfish is excellent and they always do an excellent job with vegetarian entrees. Their Thai iced tea with milk is delicious it is beautiful and tastes like Captain Crunch but better. Its a small place and its so much fun to come with friends.

Good food. Nice place. Friendly staff. Only complaint is that the spicy is definitely not spicy.

This has become a staple for us, I almost never call ahead as it seems that as I'm approaching their address my taste buds start watering (it is on the way home). My fav is Pad See Ew- Chicken. I think that's the Thai version of comfort food!

Have never stayed to eat, always takeout, but have watched their service and they are very friendly and quick. I typically don't wait longer than 15 minutes when really busy.

really really really miss this place.

it is located in a small west suburb of chicago - located in the village of bartlett. it has been open for a couple years now, having had another thai restaurant ( kind sweet couple - but not very savvy with the locals).

lilly & adam are LAO and have marketed the thai name - for obvious reasons: many people in the states are just discovering laotians, laos, lao cuisine and the people and let's be serious, middle suburbia illinois (like suburbia detroit michigan --- unless you know western michigan) i am often asked if laotian food is chinese, japanese or vietnamese? so...thai is the CLOSEST to our cuisine.

the restaurant is small, and the staff is mostly family - or extended family. the service has always been excellent for me. then again, i am informed that i am lao and understand 'lao time' and 'lao speed' and some american's may be in too much of a rush or not able to communicate properly their needs to the staff.
i would suggest bringing a lao or thai person with you. let me know. you can pick me up on the way. if not, be clear if you are there for 'quick meal' --- otherwise, you should relax awhile and enjoy your dinner, or extended lunch hour.

this staff is amasing. they love cooking. lilly comes from a long line of lao, thai & chinese chefs and cusines. she and her cooks and family members have studied in france, germany, thailand and china for cooking.

the family is usually present. aside from the anglo-crowd which is pre-dominant in bartlett, the lao & thai community will travel from elgin or naperville to come and eat at thai seasons.

the best thing for me as a laotian eating there is that they will let me order off the menu lao items not on the usual american-friendly-thai-menu. my bulgarian girlfriend and her polish-descent husband have been regulars there due to many visits with me and now still reside in the area. laotians are known for their love of spicy food and our's is more than your regular favoured thai place. thai seasons will accomodate you in spice, once again, be clear on how 'seasoned' you are in spicy cuisine. if it's not to your spice level - you can always add crushed red chili's. if it's too spicy, i suggest ordering a thai (ice) tea with creme/milk. or ask for a side of cucumbers for a palette cleanser/"cooling agent" for your taste-buds.

we have a special dish that i all recommend pronounced "kow-punh" --- this is known as spicy chicken noodle soup. we alternate the meat, however, chicken is the favoured. you can usually special order this, but give lilly and family some advanced noticed.

my partner and i would special order atleast two to eight bowls for one dinner (dependant on how many guests we had).

always brought my family here and always felt like family.
missing them madly!!!

looking foward a similar place to call 'home-made' cuisine.

they are called thai season - so will have the general thai cuisine's, however, if you are savvy, you can order off the menu LAO food and they will take care of you.

cheers to thai season's and lilly & adam in bartlett, illinois!

This place is wonderful! My family and I always order the beef & broccoli, beef fried rice, & chicken pad thai all as take out. They are always busy and well worth the wait.

Went here yesterday around noon. Service was average, but food is catered more to the non- authentic crowd. Let me warn you that, I only base how authentic an Asian restaurant is on my bathroom cleanliness scale.

The dirtier the bathroom, the better the food. Look at all the great chinese/vietnamese restaurants you have been to?

I got the pad thai and even though the person next to me ordered the exact same thing( chicken pad thai) i received it 5 min after him. This is because they cook everything fresh as you order. No stockpiling base ingredients and just adding the meat/side item later on.

They change their soup/appetizer daily for about $6.95. Their lunch special is affordable and delicuous. I even had enough to bring to dinner. The Thai Iced tea was very sweet, but I have no other iced teas to compare it to.

Overall, it was an pleasant experience.

Wow! Little "hole in the wall", mundane decor, water glasses may not be filled right away if at all. THEN OUR ORDER CAME! ALL IS FORGIVEN! Just go! Really great Thai food!

Yummy in my tummy!

Disclaimer: I know very little about Thai food, but I do know yummy and this was it.

My son and I stopped in one night last week to give Thai Seasons a try at the suggestion of Jason from West Suburban Bank (kiddie-corner from Thai Seasons). It was a great suggestion!

We started with a shrimp appetizer - I think they were Noodle Shrimp. Crispy, fried shrimp with a spicy dipping sauce. We moved on to Sesame Noodles with Chicken and Five Star Chicken..We ate every last bite of the Five Star and only took home leftovers of the Sesame Noodles because we were so full. The noodles were promptly eaten early the next day. The Five Star Chicken had a great flavor with just the right amount of veggies for me. My only wish was for a little more of the sauce.

At the end of the meal, our waiter brought us a few fresh grapes and a Thai candy that I loved. There were seven or eight grapes per person, so it was just right to feel refreshed after our meal. My son wants to go back and I am looking forward to taking my hubby here soon! I may get more adventurous, so I will report back after my next visit.

This is my third visit here. The place is located in a small shopping center, next to the Home Depot store. This place is good for cheap Thai eating. My absolute favorite is the Five Spice Chicken and their Basil Eggplant. I was also surprised that they have Pho Soup which is traditionally a Vietnamese staple. Their Pho Soup is pretty good with a hint of Thai influence. I have to admit though, that I was not too crazy about their Pad Thai. It was a little too sweet for my taste. I had to squeeze the lemon on the pad thai to offset the sweetness.

I have always come here with the same 2 people and always used my http://Restaurant.com coupon ($25 off); so adding in my coupon and the reasonable prices, this place is a steal. We always end our meal with an awesome dessert of banana rice. I absolutely luv this dessert and you will too.

I used to go to My Siam Thai Cuisine which apparently is now Thai Season. I don't know if it is the same owner, but this place is NOW an disaster!

Each time I place an order for delivery or pick up they mess up the order by forgetting the brown rice or fried tofu. I requested my red curry to be very mild and it was delivered extremely watery and spicy.

The delivery guy got lost and didn't speak English to understand my directions. My parents live 3 minutes from the restaurant (no car and wind storm dont' judge). Our total was $33 and he took $40 and didn't offer change. I would have given it, but don't assume.

Then he came back with our fried tofu and it was soggy.

The girl on the phone was nice about the order, when I placed the order I told her about the previous mess up. Once shame on you, but twice I will never order again. Crappy food, crappy service.

Bartlett needs a new place.

This used to be My Siam Thai Cuisine that was a favorite of many Bartlett locals. I don't know if Thai Season is just a makeover or an entirely new staff and cook.

Whatever it is, what I do know is that it is different from My Siam. I got take out and the service was very friendly and fast. I ordered Chicken Pad Thai for myself, and beef Pad See Ew for my gal pal and my cousin. I know Thai food can be oily, but my Chicken Pad Thai was really oily. Good but oily. Even the Pad See Ew was oilier than usual compared to My Siam. The food was good but perhaps they just were oil-happy on this day. Try it!
