After reading mixed reviews, my wife and I were a little scepticle about coming here for breakfast at the recommendation of our vet. Â The staff was friendly and attentive. They had someone constantly filling our coffee. Honestly it's a good thing but it throws off my creamer/sweetener to coffee ratio! Anyway, we ordered a corned beef skillet and the German pancake to split. Â The skillet came first at our request because the German pancake takes 45 minutes to cook. The skillet was good. A little bland but still good. The hash browns were the only disappointment at all. Â It was just raw potatoes put in the skillet and cooked with everything else. The had no color or much flavor. Â Also, regular pancakes (or toast) came with it as well. The pancakes were very good. These are a must when here for breakfast. Â The German pancake came out much later. It is HUGE! Â Kind of like a giant popover, except doughy in the center. It comes with lemon, butter, powdered sugar and syrup. Honestly, simple is best. A little butter, lemon and powdered sugar was great! Â The rest will be going back home with us!
Review Source:Tasty pancakes and oversized omelettes, but service is sometimes "iffy"... at the breakfast rush times, it can be difficult to get a table and table service can be slow. On a busy Sunday morning after waiting a bit to be seated, I ordered a skillet and asked for no mushrooms... when it came after a while, it was piled with them. BUT that happened only once.
