It should be known that I tend to, as a Chicagoan, judge very harshly everything downstate of my fair city. I come to Peoria expecting to hate it, and, with little exception, I do. Â But it should also be known that I am back at thirty thirty coffee for the second time today. I'm not sure I've ever visited the same cafe twice in one day ever in my life. Â Such is the nature of their homemade signature syrup, the molasses ginger!!! Â I've had the latte both iced and hot and I'm still a little bowled over by the intensity of my feelings of adoration. Â This place has a great ambiance and interior, nice downtown location, blah blah blah... It's all about the syrup, baby. Â They also do the classic drinks and a lot of pour-overs, it's 'that' mind of coffee place which sort of makes me feel guilty for ordering a flavored latte. Â But, when I heard they make their own syrups and i heard the words ginger molasses, it was a done deal. A lot of people are ordering the miel latte as well, if I can ever tear myself away from this molassesy, gingery heaven I look forward to trying it. Â Free parking right outside.
Review Source:Good place to meet up with friends and gets quite busy throughout the
That is a good sign that this place serves decent coffee! I think that the drinks here are better than a comparable chain establishment.
My rating is based on my experience of sitting here for two hours and the 12oz latte. Overall, the staff are super friendly and not bring from Peoria...visiting here would be a safe bet.
Cheers!
