Time Out Sports Bar & Restaurant

This is not the Time Out near UNC.  That's a different Time Out.  That Time Out does not have a bar or a significantly sized restaurant area.  This Time Out, on the other hand, is attached to a hotel of some form near Trader Joe's.  

This Time Out does have the Chicken Cheddar Biscuit.  You can buy it and eat it if you would like.  You can also buy other food.  I tried some of that other food.  It wasn't very remarkable.  

Other things you can do at this Time Out:

1. Outside-ish patio bar area is pretty nice (inside one is pretty standard)
2. play bar games.  They are fun.  Flip cup and the bean bag game whose name I'm currently forgetting are big here.
3. $2 PBR on Thursdays, if you are a fan of PBR
4. look at pictures of Drew Brees.  At least I think that was a picture of Drew Brees.  

So Time Out is A-OK.  It's a nice place if you're looking for a sports bar to play flip cup or that bean bag game thing, then you've found your place.

I came for the Chicken Cheddar biscuits that became famous on the Food Network. It's not necessarily a nice bar by any means but the service and food were great. The chicken cheddar biscuit was HUGE. I split that and a sausage egg and cheese biscuit which was also large. The coffee was good. Its definitely something everyone should try at least once.

Slow! And definitely not as good as the original on Franklin Street.

I tried this location with some musician pals looking for a late breakfast the morning after a weeknight gig. Our food took FOREVER to arrive, and the waiter only refilled my iced tea after he had refilled coffee for my three friends three times... and we were about to leave.

I had the chicken biscuit with lettuce and tomato. It was ok, but no where near places like Sunrise Biscuits, Rise, or even the original Time Out. It was crumbly and cold.

I'd avoid.
