Recently stopped in at Tobacco Road for a drink on a visit through town. Â Wow, this place is impressive. Â Clean modern decor, and more than enough TVs to cater to any fan's viewing needs. Â Spent time at the bar with Jerry serving us drinks. Â He was very knowledgeable about the wide selection of beers, and was happy to recommend ones that suited our palates. Â The margarita was tasty and a good value for the price. Â Our bartender also suggested an appetizer, the fried green tomatoes. Â Although we hadn't intended to eat anything, he made it sound so appealing that we decided to try it out. Â This was a delicious dish with local goat cheese and tangy greens that was nicely balanced in flavors and textures. Â The menu features many inventive vegetarian options, with fresh ingredients.
Overall the staff was praiseworthy, Â providing friendly and efficient service. Â We enjoyed the one menu item we tried, and hope to make it back here to try others. Â The beer selection was great, reflecting a wide variety of local and regional beers as well as national favorites. Â We weren't coming in to watch a sporting event, but I can imagine that it would be a fun place to gather with friends to enjoy a game.
I've been several times now and have loved it each time. Â Awesome burgers cooked to perfection. Â Excellent menu and great quality from local sources. Â Friendly and knowledgeable wait staff. Â Prompt service. Â Cool layout, awesome bar, plenty of TVs. Â Best food I've ever had in a sports bar, hands down.
Review Source:The TV are excellent in both quality and quantity. I also really appreciate that once a game ends, they change the channel to something new. It's the worst when you go to a place like this and half the TVs are showing infomercials and sitcoms because someone is too lazy to change the channel.
I really like the food quality, especially for the price. There are a lot of options so that everyone in your party should be able to find something they will like.
I prefer to watch big games at home, but if I was going to go out, this is where I would go.
