I really like this Tin Lizzies. I had been to the one in Buckhead before but this is way better. It's bigger and more open. The have live music occasionally.

I really like their chips and dips, tacos, and drink specials.

This place is the epitome of mediocrity for me. It's not bad but there is nothing that makes it jump out in my mind.

The location helps keep this place busy, especially during happy hour. Many people from my job come here after work and it does not really matter what day. I don't drink but my consider co-workers still keep inviting me to join them for a swig after work. I almost always decline but I have been here on a few occasions. I have tried the chips and queso, which a lot of people swear by.

My issue is that I don't like Tex-Mex/Americanized Mexican food too much. If we are talking about authentic Mexican grub, well then, that's a whole different story. Staff is attentive. I'm sure you can run into interesting people here, since so many employees in the Perimeter area come to unwind after work.

I don't mind coming again for a work function, but I doubt I would ever come here of my own accord.

So so Mexican food. Tacos are hit or miss the Philly cheese taco was really good. The chicken fajita taco, not so much. Not sure how a Mexican place can make a bad fajita taco. Cheese dip is real thick and served Luke warm. Chips are good but not seasoned equally, some have none and some have way too much

Hostesses with attitudes and one if those places that over inflate the wait times when plenty if seats are open. Just like on a Thursday when we were there.

So If your into the self entitled hippy bros drinking PBR'ish,  then this is a good place for you.

The food was meh, the tacos were over priced and hardly had anything on them. You'll get better taco's at a Taco bell imo.

Now, I love Tin Lizzy's. I frequent the Grant Park location by my house. This location, though, on weekends, is a whole 'nother animal. The Buckhead of Dunwoody seems to come out to play on weekend nights here. It gets super loud and obnoxious, almost to dance club level. I know there aren't many places to party in Dunwoody, but dang.

Food is good just like other locations, the tacos are always delicious. My favorite has fried pickles, goat cheese, and bbq sauce. Super tasty combo. The queso with chorizo is always great too. If you're looking to hang out and eat dinner, I suggest trying either the Midtown or Grant Park location on the weekends. The Dunwoody one would be a spot to just catch a drink at night.

"If I have to come into that Cantina somebody's gonna die!" -- Three Amigos! (1986)

Damn, this place gets SO LOUD at 5:30pm.  Every single business person within a 5 mile radius comes in here for a beer (and if they don't, it certainly sounds like it.  I'm guessing this is a result of all the wood and nothing on the walls to help deaden the sound.  I'm not sure how the servers have voices since they have to yell to ask how you are doing...

That being said, when it isn't so full, it is actually a pretty cool location.  The place is wide open, the servers are super nice and attentive and they make sure your drinks are kept full.  Heidi P and I cam in here to do some work one afternoon (both of us work from home and needed a change of scenery) and so the sounds at our table tend to be clicking of our keyboards.  Our server, Carena, realized we were working, so she would quietly replace drinks and check in occasionally to make sure we didn't want for anything.

The food is always pretty decent here (yummy queso, salsa, guac) and the chips have that delish, salty, spicy seasoning on them.  Although I always get some chips that taste like they were not cooked enough.

They were kind and let us use their electric outlets when needed and free wifi is always a plus.  But if you want to be able to carry on a conversation, make sure you have amazing lung capacity, come in early in the day, or sit outside.  They need to add some fabric or something to the walls to help with the sound in here.

Don't go here if you're in a hurry.  They stay busy (which is great for them), but I've rarely been seated in less than 20 minutes.  On several occasions the wait was quoted over 45 minutes.  No thanks.

The food is good and if you've been to other locations, you know what to expect.  Of course, I tend to order the same 3 tacos every time!

The beer selection is very lacking.  Nothing to brag about at all.  At least they usually have Sam Adams Seasonals on tape, so that's normally what I get.  The rest is mostly your average 'crap' beers.

The service is hit or miss.  Sometimes it's great and sometimes they barely know you're there.

It's normally very loud inside due to large crowds.

But, I do like the food.

I've been to Tin Lizzy's in Buckhead a few times and liked it alright, but had a HORRIBLE experience at the Dunwoody location last weekend.

My honey and I went on Friday night and it was packed with the happy hour crowd. He dropped me off to get a table while he parked. I was told it would be a 30-40 minute wait, but they were ready to seat us by the time my guy arrived at the door. I was happy about that until they seated us - right below a speaker, playing the so-so guitar music way too loud. I politely asked if we could be seated elsewhere, perhaps at an empty table on the patio. The hostess snapped back at me - something about a large party. Which I understand, but her attitude was not appreciated. We were so irritated that we got up and left.

Thinking that we just went at a bad time, we decided to try again on Saturday afternoon and it was much less crowded. We were seated on the patio right away. Everything was great until my margarita arrived - WITH A HAIR IN IT. I pointed it out to the employee who delivered it (not our server) - trying not to make a big deal of it - and he brought me a new one that was too full and dripping down the sides. He didn't even wipe it off and it turned into a sticky mess. Apparently he also neglected to tell our server about the incident - as our server still charged us for the margarita, and didn't even apologize. Won't be eating here again.

After work this place always is packed for after work cocktails.

It's a very relaxed, but comfortable atmosphere.

They make a pretty mean 'rita. My favorite taco is the BBQ Korean Taco - nom!

Their BBQ chicken salad is always delicious.

The only thing slightly disappointing if you want chips (that are free at most Mexican restaurants) you have to pay for yours. Only downfall, but do not that let stop you from checking this place out.

Service is a hit or a miss. Sometimes they are slammed where it makes it hard for the servers to get to you in a timely matter. Just know - maybe you want to order your 'ritas two at a time.

    This place is pop'n !

A great after work drink spot to chill with your teammates after the office shuffle.
I've gone with past friends and teammates here and it's a fun hive of energy. The drinks were tasty; an this is coming from someone who tries to steer clear of drinks you buy in bulk.

The chicken tacos were spot on!

Management and wait-staff here are great.  Very personable.  They really wanted my group to feel at home, and they did take good care of us.  I have to give them major kudos for that.  And the food and drink were good.  I enjoyed the Nachos.  Add a margarita and you're essentially talking about comfort food.  The kitchen does some good work, and the bartenders aren't too shabby, either.

But this place is LOUD.  It was loud when we got there.  Add a live musician to the mix, and all of a sudden we're all shouting to be heard even as we sat next to each other.  I was unpleasantly reminded of a cross between superficial frat parties, drunken / irresponsible Jimmy Buffett fans, and everything I dislike about corporate white-bread America.  I'm talking about the patrons here, not the Cantina.  Tin Lizzy's can't do anything about that, I suppose.

And if you're not a good navigator, this place is hard to find.  Heck, I'm a really good navigator, and I missed it once.  I had to turn off my GPS to figure things out--the GPS wants you to be near Target, which is some distance away from where the establishment actually lives.  I'm not the only member of my group who was frustrated with this.  (And where Tin Lizzy's actually lives is in part of the Suntrust Bank building right there across the street from the Container Store.)

So I suppose if you're a marketing team from one of the nearby corporate enterprises and you're celebrating jeans-day or some such thing, Tin Lizzy's is your place.   I know they serve great tacos, and when I go back, I'll be sure my guests are all very loud folks.

I've only been to the location in Buckhead, so last night when my husband and I were running errands and decided to pull out our handy Yelp app for a dinner suggestion, this came up and we happily headed over. It's in a tricky little spot that you might miss the first time or two. You can see it from the road, but it's attached to a Suntrust building so it's easy to look over.

There's a lot of outdoor seating, which is what we decided on. For a Monday night, the place was pretty busy, and the servers were working hard and were all very friendly and attentive. We split a pitcher of the house margarita, and even for house, it was pretty good. The guacamole we started with was fantastic and well worth the $6.99 (I think?), and it came with perfectly seasoned chips for dipping. It came with so much that we didn't finish it all, which is kind of shame... You don't get free chips and salsa here, btw. It's $2.99 to start.

I had the Korean BBQ pork taco and one of the steak tacos. I LOVED the first one - the slaw was delicious and you could still taste the bbq pork through it, and that itself was really full of flavor and it had a little bite. The second one came with a spicy, creamy sauce and onions and tomatoes, and while it was good, the sauce was a little too much for me. It wasn't a loss though - the steak was so good I finished it up with my fork. I allowed my husband one bite :)

I can see this being somewhere I stop in during the summer for a quick taco or two - but know that they also have lots of salads and quesadillas, and you can make your own combo for them, which is a fun little bonus in my book.

They've only been here a few months but business is definitely booming. We went this past Saturday, pollen and wind be damned, and dined on the patio. This location is attached to the SunTrust bank on Perimeter Ctr; seems to be more space inside and outside which means larger crowds. Prices are the same at all Tin Lizzy's, cheap and reasonable so dine away. We were well attended to in spite of it being very busy. The huge plus over this place vs. the other locations is the parking is PLENTIFUL and FREE, at least on the weekend. I could see it being an issue during the week when the SunTrust is open, though. 4 stars only because the tacos aren't as good as I've had at other locations, although by and large the food at Tin Lizzy seems to be going way downhill. Def look forward to going back for drinks, glad there's now one close to me.

I got lost getting here because I didn't see it attached to the Suntrust Bank, but I've been known to get lost going basically anywhere. I'm sure most people will not have a hard time finding it, because it's facing the road and it is clearly visible. I am just blind.  Once I got there, I was greeted by a very nice hostess, but I was meeting a friend at the bar so I didn't experience being seated and all that by her. I really liked the feel of this place because it reminded me of the beach.  I felt like I should have been applying sunscreen and looking for my volleyball.  It was very airy and well lit.

The bartenders were very nice and answered our questions well and made really good suggestions.  I had the beach house margarita and it was very good, I would definitely order it again.  It had coconut tequila, yum!  My friend got the house margarita and she said it was really good, too.

We got the fried jalapenos as our appetizer and they were awesome! Spicy, so if that isn't your thing... I would stay away.  I actually put a few of them on my veggie taco, and it was tasty.  Speaking of the veggie taco...It was better than I expected but I wasn't over the moon about it.  I also got the "Southern Comfort Taco" with grilled chicken, bbq sauce, goat cheese and fried pickles on it! Really, really good.  I also got the cucumber salad and added tomatoes. It was a nice, light side to go with my spicy food.

All in all a very good lunch experience! I will definitely be back to try more tacos and margaritas :)

If you enjoy chips, salsa, queso, guac, etc. to the point where they become a meal, Tin Lizzy's is where it's at. The dips are great and the seasoned chips can't be topped. Tacos were solid as well. Can't wait to try the one near Emory/CDC.

I heard about Tin Lizzy's from a few people so I decided to try it out myself. This location is right down the street from where I stay so its pretty convenient although its easy to miss, because its literally apart of the Sun Trust. We went on Thursday night and it was a nice crowd but we were seated instantly. The front area near the bar was pretty loud but we were seated near the back which wasn't too bad.

Our waitress came pretty quickly and answered any questions we had. We ordered two of the strawberry margarita's which were pretty good, kind of strong but wasn't bad at all. I had the Chicken, Bacon, Ranch quesadilla which was great. The other person with me had the create your own, grilled chicken and bbq shrimp and that was good as well.

Overall I enjoyed my experience here. Good service, good drinks, and good food.

A group of 3 of us came here for lunch and had a great time.  The staff was incredibly friendly with the space having a good flow and vibe.  Overall the atmosphere is very casual and easy going which is what I was hoping for on my first visit.

I had been to the location in Midtown and felt that spot revolved more around the bar, where as I felt this is more evenly focused with a nice size bar but also plenty of seating.  I was also surprised at how reasonable the prices were, even for the beverages.

To start we ordered chips and queso which were good, but nothing to ramble about.  Each of us ordered some different tacos including the: grilled shrimp, grilled fish, fried shrimp and the Philly.  The menu is setup so you order each taco individually which I enjoy to add a little variety.  Overall, each of said how good the tacos were...which we had with a couple of cold beers.

Wifi is available, you just need to ask for the password from your server to hop on.  Personally if I'm out to eat with my friends I rather enjoy the conversation then be surfing but could see the wifi being useful if you came for a business lunch.

Come here a lot with co workers. Cool atmosphere although they were not able to duplicate the atmosphere the midtown location has. Amanda is usually our waitress and she is AMAZING! Great tacos and margaritas! Oh yeah, their queso is to die for

While visiting Atlanta, my old college roomie suggested Tin Lizzy's. No idea why, but I never did try Tin Lizzy's all throughout college. And she was saying this one just opened up recently in the Perimeter area. That was pretty obvious when we went for dinner and the place was packed.

Although really loud and probably not the best place to catch up on life, I liked it.  I tried the philly taco, fish taco, and another I don't remember. (oops! shrimp maybe?) I DO remember all being pretty good, with fish being my favorite. The chips and salsa were normal, just like at any other Mexican restaurant. I'm not a huge fan of Mexican food, so they all seem the same to me. I do like the prices here, though. Good food for a nice price.

I had just eaten at Bone Garden Cantina the night before, so when friends wanted to head out to Tin Lizzy's, I wasn't exactly craving Hispanic food. Luckily, the diverse taco menu gave me a lot of options.

First off, location: I used to live in this area, and I still would have never found Tin Lizzy's if I hadn't known it was there. It hides underneath Sun Trust, so keep an eye out when you're trying to get there for the first time.

Second, booze: The pitcher of house margaritas was tasty and well priced. Best I've ever had? No. Delicious and affordable? Definitely.

Third, food: I got the Super Greek Taco, the Philly (beef), and the Buffalo Chicken. All three were good. The philly was especially delicious. I would have liked to have seen more blue cheese on the Buffalo Chicken, but I'm a huge cheese fan, so I'm a bit biased.

All together, a great first experience at Tin Lizzy's and I would definitely return.

I was craving a margarita on a recent Sunday evening, and this particular Tin Lizzy's Cantina just happened to be fairly close to where a friend and I were hanging out.  Although I had been to the Buckhead location once before and was disappointed that they don't serve frozen margaritas (*GASP*!), I thought that a margarita on the rocks would be better than none at all.

Since we had a late lunch, my friend and I decided just to get an appetizer to share and a single taco each.  We glanced at the menu and decided to order tortilla chips with one of "The Duo" options - "Any one salsa and one queso."  For my taco, I ordered the BBQ Chicken Taco on a white flour tortilla since I had enjoyed the BBQ Pork one at the other location.  Finally, I ordered a Strawberry Margarita since our server said it was her favorite.

Our drinks, tortilla chips, and duo dips were served fairly quickly.  The tacos took a little longer to arrive, but we were busy munching on the chips and dip so we didn't mind.

    * Strawberry Margarita ($6/glass) - This margarita would be so delicious frozen.  It consists of "Strawberry puree, Dekuyper Triple Sec, sour mix, lime wedge."  Although I normally don't like margaritas on the rocks, this one was actually the perfect blend of sweet and sour, and it was tasty.  I really enjoyed it and would definitely get it again.

    * The Duo (Queso Fundido and Spicy Red Salsa, $6.99) - The Queso Fundido is made of "Queso blanco with chorizo sausage, grilled onions and peppers, and the Spicy Red Salsa contains "Tomatoes, jalapenos, fresh cilantro, fresh lime juice and special seasonings."  For two dips and unlimited chips, I thought this was a pretty good deal!  Of course, I preferred the Queso Fundido since it doesn't contain cilantro and contained VISIBLE pieces of chorizo in it.  =)  However, the salsa was actually pretty decent, too, considering the fact that it DOES contain cilantro, which I despise.  The chips were seasoned and just as tasty as the ones I had at the Buckhead location.

    * BBQ Chicken Taco ($2.99) - This taco contains "Grilled chicken, bacon cilantro slaw and honey chipotle bbq sauce" in a flour tortilla.  Since the "slaw" contains cilantro, I asked our server to request that the slaw be put on the side and NOT inside the taco.  I tried to pick out as much cilantro as I could from the slaw before putting it in my taco, but it was tough.  The BBQ Chicken Taco was decent but not as good as the BBQ Pork one I had last time.  I wouldn't order it again.

Overall, this Tin Lizzy's Cantina gets 3.5 stars for their delicious tortilla chips, "OK" tacos, strong margaritas, and good service.  As previously mentioned, it would be SO much better if they offered frozen margaritas!  Although Tin Lizzy's isn't a place that I would specifically crave and go out of my way for, I'll probably return if I happen to be close by when I'm yearning for a margarita.

Awesome place. I love the industrial-gastro-taco bar attitude going on here. the Korean BBQ taco was full of flavor and texture. One complaint, the fried jalapenos, I wish they would have been fresh and not canned.

Went here for a pre wedding weekend party. There were 20 of us so the hostess had a created a buffet for us. All of the dishes were disgusting. The cheese dip was yummy but all of the rest was warm & soggy and bland. I will try this place once more without a buffet and see if it gets better.

I came here with a group of about 20 people and the wait staff was FANTASTIC. They were cool, calm, and collected. They took all of our drink orders, got us appetizers, and even continually filled up our drinks which is abnormal for groups that size.

They also did not include a mandatory tip percentage but most of us ended up tipping over the normal amount.

    PROs
    - The atmosphere is really clean and neat. It's a restaurant / sports bar area where there are tons of screens to watch whatever game you want.
    - The service is awesome.

    FOOD
    - Food isn't anything special. They do have tacos and quesadillas but they are just flour tortillas with some lettuce, tomato, cheese and some sort of meat. I ordered the steak fajita taco and it was good, nothing amazing. Steak was was seasoned well and tasted good (I suppose it's a good thing that I have nothing bad to say aobut it). I also had a buffalo chicken taco and that tasted good and the chicken to taco ratio was just right. Again, nothing amazing but it wasn't abd.

I've been to all three Tin Lizzy's locations in Atlanta (Buckhead, Midtown and Perimeter), and this one is my second favorite.  This location is larger than the Buckhead location, less crowded, but way too freaking loud.  You have to yell at each other to carry on any sort of communication.  Knowing sign language would probably help.  They wire the mic from the band outside throughout the inside of the restaurant, so while you can usually escape from the noise at other places, there is no escape here.

Other than that, I heart Tin Lizzy's. They are very fast, have great margaritas, and have the most amazing chips ever.  They are sprinkled with "crack" seasoning and will usually make up about 60% of my meal, on top of a couple tacos.

My favorite taco is the Spicy Tilapia.  It's a "healthier" option without tasting too healthy.  Which probably means it's not that healthy, but there's a heart next to it on the menu, so I'll continue to think otherwise.

Get a pitcher (or five) of margaritas, two tacos, and the three amigos and you'll be set.

I've heard a lot about Tin Lizzy's but never rly tried it until this weekend. I didn't really expect too much bc it is somewhat of a chain restaurant... I have a thing against chain restaurants lol

Well the food was pretty good, definitely better than I expected. I came with 3 other friends and here's the damage:
1 pitcher of Strawberry margarita - quite yummy & strong
fried jalapeno & fried pickles - so addictive!!
chicken tortilla soup - very good
quesadilla with grilled shrimp - alright
skillet with grilled shrimp - good
skillet with fried chicken - good
tacos (spicy tilapia, steak) - I can't remember if my friend liked these or not... she devoured them though lol

Service was great for a busy afternoon.

    Best $4 margaritas in town!

    Why am I "a fan"?

Good service. I had a chance to sit at both the bar and restaurant, both experiences were excellent. The server was super friendly, fast and diligent, the bartender had a generous pour and pleasant personality.

Good food. I had one of my VERY rare salad moods, and was rewarded with a perfect salad. Everyone enjoyed the meals. All salads, skillets and quesadillas are presented as a basic entree, but you can add on tons of additional ingredients for a buck or two more. This works for me, but more important, it also means there is something for everyone!

Good prices. Again, great $4 margaritas! Skillets and salads starting around $5

Only downside, no free chips and salsa. Kind of "lamo" (lame-oh) as they say in "Meh"-ico. We asked for additional gluten free chips and were presented with a bag of Tostitos (not marked gluten free)

    Good service+good food+good prices+++good margaritas =Yay. I'm a fan! Ole!

My husband and I and three friends went to eat here at 7pm on a Saturday night.  This location recently opened, so we expected it to be packed.  It was, but we were still able to get a high top seat inside in about 10 minutes. The place had a mix of families with small children and folks trying to see and be seen.  It will be very interesting to see which type of patron this place will try to court.

Live music was provided on the deck with outside seating, so it was just as well with me that we sat inside as I can't stand live music at restaurants (that's just a personal thing though, because where there is live music, I generally can't hear my companions speaking.)

The service through the night was good, despite the crowd.

    Appetizers
Guacamole, salsa, queso combination with tortilla chips.  The guacamole and the queso were too salty.  The salsa was a bit sweet for my taste but still okay.  The tortilla chips were so salty that they were almost inedible.  I realize that the salty flavor is the half the point of eating tortilla chips (the first being the crunchiness), but this was beyond salty.

Fried pickles - Tasted like...fried.  Not much pickle flavor going on there.

    Entrees
Chop Chop Shrimp Taco - Good flavor, with a nice amount of slightly blackened shrimp.
Fried Fish Taco - Could not taste the fish at all or any other flavor. Just tasted fried.
Spicy Cilantro Steak Taco - Tasted like salted dog food.  I couldn't even eat it.  That is saying something from someone who normally eats everything on her plate.
Buffalo Chicken Salad - Husband described this as "not too bad."  There was a nice amount of chicken, but hardly any black beans or pico.

    Drinks
Grapefruit Margarita - why did I not go with the House margarita?  This tasted like very watered down grapefruit juice with a splash of tequila.  NOT an $8 drink in my opinion.
House Margaita - same complaint as above.

Overall impression: It was too dark to see each other, too loud to hear each other over the TVs, and overall the meal was nothing short of a sodium bomb which I regretted mightily over the next two days.

I wish I had it in my heart to go back here and give it another chance once they get the kinks ironed out, but there are plenty of other taquerias with better flavor and a better price.  Good Luck Tin Lizzy's.  I'm pretty sure you'll make it on location alone.

I'll start this review by saying that Tin Lizzy's is one of my favorite Atlanta establishments. I first loved the Grant Park location, then ate at the Buckhead location all the time since I live nearby, and now, finally there is a Tin Lizzy's by my office- I'm excited!

I finally tried out this location last weekend. It was a Thursday night and me and one person waited for about 35 minutes for table. The place was packed! We had to wait outside for our table and sneak into the bar area to get a drink while waiting. This is to be expected since the place just opened, but I wasn't super excited by that point because neither of us could find parking in the designated lots. Parking has never been a strong point for any Tin Lizzy's location though, oh well.

First, I highly recommend you try this place out. It's a sports bar with excellent food. I really can't get enough of their chips and queso or their skillets, you can ask any of my friends. I annoyingly suggest Tin Lizzy's every time there's a food decision to be made. So for me, food is A+. This location did actually produce a better skillet than I had at my previous visit to the Buckhead location.

My #1 problem with this location is the noise. It's insanely loud, even for a sports bar. The entire interior of the restaurant is made of wood, floor to ceiling, and it shows. They really need to invest in some sound proofing for this location. I was literally yelling at the waitress.

Overall, this is an excellent edition to Perimeter. You should definitely try it out!

Nice to have another location and happy hour spot not far from work.  I've been once during happy hour and once at lunch.  Both times have been pretty busy and packed.

Food is hit or miss.  The second time I was there, all of our food came out in less than 5 minutes.  I was quite shocked considering it was the happy hour crowd and hard to move around in there.  I knew immediately it would not be the best - and was right.  I had one of the half skillets and the rice was a bit undercooked.  Too hungry to send it back and worry about all of that.  We were there to have a couple of drinks and grub a little.

The noise level can get pretty loud in here also.  If you don't want to talk to the person/people you are dining with or you like warming up your vocal cords with a yelling match - this is the place to go.

They're still new so I hope it goes up rather than down from here.  Otherwise, I'll trek over to the Roswell Rd location.

I ate here during lunch and the service was fast.  There are many things on the menu, but I went with the nachos.  My co-worker had a couple of tacos.  I added some items to the standard nachos, so be careful, the price could add up quickly.  I loved the seasoning on the chips.  The manager stopped by our table to ask us how everything was and to clear off some of our plates.

I look forward to visiting again and having a margarita.

My margarita was watered down and the waitress tried to charge my friends for extra stuff. I'll keep going on Crescent Ave.

My wonderful co-workers brought me back some lunch today and if I hadn't been starving i would have thrown it in the trash after the 1st bite. The fajita steak taco tasted like ROAD KILL and the chicken taco was hard and dry. Thank goodness I had the tater tots otherwise I would be eating the croutons on my desk I keep handy for my salads. I definitely won't be going there to eat ever after what I had today.

Not sure how long this place will stay in business when they have Uncle Julio's and Twisted Taco as their competition. I could only assume that people go there for the drinks and from what I heard from a fella co-worker today even the drinks are horrible.

I am a fan of this new location because it's so very close to my place.

It is much larger and nicer inside and out than the other locations.  Nonetheless, this particular Tuesday night was EXTREMELY NOISY.  There was a Braves game on and some obnoxious fans.  Oh well, what can you do ?

I ordered the chips and queso for the first time here and fell in absolute love!  I also got the black bean soup, which was pureed.  It had fresh cilantro, sour cream and flavor.  However,  I do not like baby food consistency foods and this was that!

I stuck with my usual tacos-Buffalo shrimp and Southern Comfort-Yummy in my Tummy

Hubby got the usual half skillet, custom made of course to his pallete.

We love Tin Lizzy's no matter how crowded they are

Big resto + nice patio + pitchers of margs = Dunwoody swag!

Went on the day after grand opening and was expecting a clusterfuck but they had their shit on lock!  This place was slammed, they quoted me a 45 min wait for a 6er on the patio but it was only a 20 min wait... winning.

They had live music on the patio and these guys were great!  Food-wise, it's the same as the rest of the TLs, they have something for everyone.  Definitely get their triple dip app thing...

Most nights, this place is probably a 10-15 minute drive from their buckhead location.  I'd rather go to this location as the douche level is substantially lower here.

Parents of Dunwoody, this place is not kid friendly so don't even fucking try....

I LOVE tin lizzys in Buckhead. LOVE. So I was beyond excited to visit the new location one block from my house. Went there the other night and must say - I was slightly dissapointed! The margaritas were on point, but my favorite thing about TL is their chips and salsa. I love the fresh, mild salsa and the seasoned chips. But our entire bowl was full of bland, stale chips! And the salsa did not taste like the one at buckhead at all.... Sort of reminded me of Pace in a jar!
All in all, dissapointed that my new neighborhood TL fails to live up to its other locations.

First and foremost, I got to eat for free because of my blog. That does not affect my rating, I just believe transparency is best for all, and I will be back regularly as a customer, obviously.

I like Tin Lizzy's, but I've never really enjoyed the atmosphere of them beyond the Grant Park one, and sadly that is way too far to make a regular visit considering it's the one furthest away from me. So one opening around Perimeter Center sounded good. This new location is kind of on the east perimeter (for lack of any other word to use) of the Perimeter Center Place (Super Target, Taco Mac, etc) shopping center. If you're coming from the west, you can turn in there and turn right before Flemings to easily get in.

This location seems far more spacious than any others, and the patio is fantastic. There are 3 big screen TVs out there and the modern feel of it is really nice. Additionally there is a ton of parking, which most lazy asses can't seem to figure out. The bizarre contradictory parking signs and paint are probably not helping, and SunTrust really does need to get it together now that something else is sharing this building with them. For example, walking back to the car the sign says "tenant and employee parking" but way in the back "bank patron parking only." Get it together. There are also a ton of spaces that say SunTrust parking only but who the hell is at a bank at 8pm at night?

None of that is their doing, but I think maybe they should push to get this stuff clarified because it's just odd.

Onto everything else. This was their fourth day, and everything seemed really smooth already, which I guess is definitely a benefit to this being the fourth location they've opened. Drinks were very quick, although the food took a bit of time and one of my tacos did not arrive with the rest of them. It didn't take long for it to join its fellow tacos, so no harm done, really.

I love the seasoning on their chips at Tin Lizzy's, and this one is no different. The salsa is pretty good too. I don't really care for their queso, so I stick with the salsa. I love visible diced garlic in my salsa.

For tacos, I got the Southern Comfort, Chicken Philly, and Super Greek. I've had the Philly one before and love it, although it gets a bit messy. The other two were new to me. I don't understand how on earth I have never had the Southern Comfort before: chicken, BBQ sauce, onions, goat cheese, and fried pickles. I cannot even get started on how amazing goat cheese and fried pickles are together.

The Super Greek is a lot like a gyro, but on a tortilla. The gyro meat is obviously not as amazing as places that specialize in gyros but it's still a really good taco. Less substance to the outer wrap means you can taste everything inside even more. The Southern Comfort was my absolute favorite though.

I will definitely be back to enjoy their cheap, strong margaritas on the patio. It's not too far from home, which is perfect.
