The pub describes their food as "high quality pub grub," I have to disagree, it's just pub grub. Â We chose Trinity because we were hungry and needed to get out of the rain. Â We should have kept walking. Â The menu looked promising. Â Our waitress was friendly and attentive at first, but became engrossed with the young male students at the bar.
I'll make this short and sweet. Â The spinach and artichoke dip was soupy, so-so. Â My husband did enjoy his Pub Burger. Â I had the fish & chips, the beautifully battered and fried cod was tasteless. The chips/fries were fine.
I'm sure college aged folks love the place, but don't bother eating here unless you want "pub grub."
The guineas was great. Â I had the trinity Grill Cheeze - I was looking for something light but Zesty and this grilled cheese included tomato, bacon, on the sandwich.
But, the bread was super thick and overwhelming for the sandwich. And I should've known better as the tomatoes are out of season. So, I won't be ordering that again if I want  a light and flavorful Cheeze explosion.
