Poppin on Thursday nights for $4 long islands. Lot of LC students. Decent selection of beer and booze and the foods not half bad also (make sure you order off the happy hour menu).

I've been a frequent patron of the Tryon for over 12 years (knew it back when it was "Robby's") and have recommended it to MANY friends. Unfortunately, the place has taken a turn for the worse.

Management needs to pull it's head out of it's A$$ and show a little loyalty to it's staff and regulars. The new staff are pretty much MIckey Mouse club and my old faves are dropping like flies. Time to find a new SW hang.

Well I wrote a great review a while ago, and that was true at the time. Now new management has come in and fired all of the loyal long term staff that was the glue that made this place awesome. There have already been major changes that have made a serious impact on this place and I am sure there are more to come. After years of this being my usual hang out I really don't know that I will be going back again. This is a real shame and really shows that as a business they have no respect for those that got them to where they are today.
