Beer battered burger! Beer battered fries! Beer! Special sauce! Dive bar! All things I love and enjoy. So naturally, I was bound to be a fan of this spot.

Seating is few and tight. And there are never enough servers. But hey, it's a dive bar - it's supposed to be that way.

It's a really small spot. There's lots to look at on the walls. Eclectic and cool - just like a dive bar should be.

Its proximity to the Capitol (and having been featured on DDD) means it draws in its fair share of tourists. But there's also plenty of regulars and locals.

The beer battered burger was good. Not the best burger I've ever had. But I'd also never had a beer battered one. So it was a cool and different thing to try. Hint: Ask for a side of their special sauce and slather it on your beer battered burger.

All in all, this is a great and un-pricey place to grab a beer and/or a bite to eat.

My husband and I visited Tune Inn on 07/14/13 during our D.C. visit. Service was incredibly slow, so don't go unless you have time to kill.  We both got the beer battered burger and thought it was delish!  The fries were equally delish.

Bar rating only: this night the crowd was ultra douchey, some tool was intentionally playing kiddy dance pop. Which was funny about 2 o 3 times... But by the 5 th song..... You kind of start to realize he's singing every word and probably has a late model 70's panel van in the parking lot and choose this location solely do to its proximity to a school. Dude, can you say creep.

Servers more interested in keeping track of the regulars than than ensuring a safe registered offender free environment. One night buzz kill.
