Like many others, we were nearby and said what the heck. I tried to be objective knowing they are a new place. First impression was pretty good. I liked the decor and even with the restaurant being pretty crowded we were seated very fast. The girls at the front seemed a bit snotty but I figured whatever, our waitress seemed nicer. We ordered an appetizer which we waited FOREVER for. I appreciated our waitress being honest and explaining that another waitress who seated the table next to us 15 minutes after us gave them our appetizer which they also ordered by mistake. The place just seemed like chaos and I found myself watching a crazy number of waiters, waitresses and hostesses yet they were all standing around waiting for stuff. Watching them deliver stuff to tables was insane and I wondered how they even kept track of anything. The food was eh...not bad but seriously, if I have to wait an hour to eat - I better be blown away.
Review Source:I'm giving this review two stars for the front desk staff and the drinks. Â My husband and I went to Twigs last night. Â We promptly got seated on the patio (which is a very nice patio). Â We sat there for a good 15 minutes or so before anyone approached us. Â Finally one of the front desk girls must have noticed we hadn't been greeted and brought us waters. Â Another 5-7 minutes went by and finally our server came over. Â We ordered two Jalapeno martinis which were really good. Â It took about 10 minutes to get them however. Â I ordered the crab macaroni and cheese and my husband ordered a Cuban sandwich with fries. Â The fries were clearly the frozen kind that come from a bag and were not seasoned well. Â They tasted like cardboard. Â The sandwich was okay, but not great. Â My macaroni and cheese was dry and not seasoned correctly either. Â Just kind of bland. Â When the food arrived, my husband ordered a beer and it came about the time we were finishing our food. Â With so many choices for restaurants in Portland and around Bridgeport Village......we most likely will not be back.
Review Source:This is a temporary review, as it is still a new restaurant, but we went there last night and it was a pretty bad experience all around.
Horribly slow service, they had run out of prawns by 6pm, while waiting to figure out what to do with that, they burned my wife's salmon, the waiter brought the wrong drink, my dessert was mostly a pile of whipped cream even though that wasn't mentioned on the menu....
It was generally a disaster, and among the worst of the "it's new" experiences. Â So, take this with a grain of salt starting around June, but I wouldn't recommend going there until they've figured things out a little better.
We went there and will give it another try in six months. The place is really fun inside but the food was not great. I ordered the mango shrimp curry and asked what shade of peppers? He said red and I was happy as I am allergic to green. When he brought my entree it had green peppers. He went and had it re-made while my husband sat there calmly staring at his greasy pizza. If you are going to serve pizza and you are across the street from California Pizza kitchen you need to get your game on. He finally brought my entree and it was not hot. Menu has potential but food needs a huge improvement. Our waiter Hank was very sweet but I think he needs to know the menu. I hope they get their act together as it could be a fun place.
Review Source:Ok, I first went to a Twig's in Kennewick, WA & fell in love. Their Gorgonzola Cheese Sauce to dip your fries in- amazing. Their Drunken Doughnuts- to die for. They had this sangria-cocktail that I can't quite remember the name of- delicious. And the service there was impeccable. So you can imagine my delight when they opened a new location in Tigard, close to home. I am going to have to say that it didn't live up to the hype in my head from my Twig's experience roughly a year ago. However, they've just opened about a week & a half ago, so I understand they're working out the kinks. Fries were a little underdone, and the service was ... awkward. There was a BUNCH of waitstaff and not that many guests, and it took a while for our food to get out to us. I'll give it a while before I come back, and hopefully then can revise my review to the 5 stars I know this place is capable of.
Review Source:Located where the old Macaroni Grill used to be in Bridgeport mall is a new American restaurant with some decent food and a beautiful and fresh interior. Â It's a local chain that boasts 36 signature martinis at $8-$12 each.
I was a little concerned of the recent poor reviews of this place, and considering that it just opened, I braced myself for the possibility of poor service. Â Fortunately, it seems they got the message and stepped up their game. Â The greeters were smiling and friendly from the get-go and the waitress was spot-on excellent. Â
I came here for dinner and started with a Moroccan beef appetizer and a beer cheese soup. Â The beef was cooked and seasoned perfectly, juicy, and paired well with the sauce. Â The beer cheese soup, on the other hand, was so bland and tasteless I sent it back. Â
The butternut squash gnocchi was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed it.  The TNT steak was glazed well and tender but the steak itself was dry.  The crème brûlée was amazing.
I'm looking forward to returning. Â Hopefully I can update the review in the near future to give it its 5th star once they work out the kinks.

TL;DR: Good restaurant with a lot of promise.
Went in for happy hour after work, really cool place! It almost feels like a club downtown the decorations are so modern. (Not for families!)
The menu looks impressive, although not sure what their inspiration is exactly.
When we walked in there were several mangers leaning and chatting, not a single one smiled or said hello. We wandered aimlessly as the 3 bartenders and two servers completely ignored us. It was not busy people! For a brand new place you would think they would be excited for new faces, I guess not.
***Our server was one of the best servers I have ever had, Fa. He was fantastic and I will no doubt be back only for him. If only he could be duplicated for the entire place :) ***
Overall tasty drinks. FABULOUS service (by Fa). Terrible atmosphere by unwelcoming management staff.
I wish them luck?
Went into the new Restuarant, sat down and ordered from the happy hour menu. Â Got the fries and Buffalo Chicken Sliders and 2 drinks to start. Â Sat and waited for 20 min to get my drink. Â Customers next to me are getting served super fast. Â 45 min past and still no food, ask the waitress about our order she said "Oh, I forgot to submit your order, ill get it rushed". Â 20 min later still no food, at this point we are pissed over 1 hr for 2 simple happy hour items. Â
At this point my wife went to the Manager who was shocked and got us our food. Â This is the only reason I am giving them a 2 star rating is because of his wonderful service from the Manager, he was super professional and pleasant.
Our Waitress should be fired after this, she never came by to see how things were going until after 45 min of not receiving the food. Â Never asked me for another drink.
As for the food it was good, nothing to jump up and down for.
So far it's been a hit and miss experience. Our appetizer came long before our drinks did. Crab and Artichoke Dip was good though and so were the drinks. Granted the drinks cost a pretty penny. Entrees took forever too. Food was okay. The pizza was the best dish but arrived luke warm. Â The Cuban was okay too much pickle for my taste. My husband enjoyed his garlic burger but not the fries. Gnocchi was potato with pieces of squash and too much oil. Ordered a second round of drinks and they came once we were finished with dinner and only after asking our server about it.
They are a new place so I know they need to work the kinks. I might return in the future with friends but I won't be a regular.
Oh it's also really loud in here.
2 stars for the food and service. 1 star for the ambiance.
