V Lounge

I hate to leave a bad review here because service was good. The music was great...awesome DJ.....but the place was not happening.

I arrived here with a group of friends around 11 and I kid you not the whole place was empty. We were the only people in there aside from the bartender lol

I had fun here though the dance floor was all for me and no wait for the girls bathroom what more do I want hahahah

Got here around 10:30 and it was completely empty. Some people might like this because it's quiet and allows for a nice place with music and drinks to relax, but I was in the mood to dance so this absolutely didn't work for me. As we walked up to the bar, it took the bartenders like a good 5 minutes to notice us since we were the only ones there and they were deep in conversation with themselves. Didn't appreciate the service especially for having paid $12 bucks for ONE drink!

The actually lounge is fairly large with ample place to sit. The dance floor seems to be all around the lounge, wherever people feel comfortable enough to dance. The only reason I gave them 2 stars was because I looooved the music the DJ was playing; Top 40's. Unfortunately, we stayed til like 11 and decided to head over to Gaslite since it didn't seem like people were going to show up.

Everything looks dirty and old; I'm shocked they're still in business. This looks like the type of place to be on Bar Rescue.

I've been here twice. Both times for a DJ event promoted by friends of friends. The bar is nothing special...small has a dance floor and stage. Both times I came it was a crowd of people who have to wear the trendiest outfits with a hint of hobo chic. Felt like everyone thought they were the hottest shit.

This past weekend when I came here with my boyfriend we had ordered tickets online and still had to wait in line to get in...meanwhile there was another line for people paying at the door that was SHORTER! WTF?!

After a little bit of finagling we got in. I had to go to the bathroom and the line for the women's bathroom was longer than the entry line...ugh!

Drinks were over $10 (I think?) and again nothing special. They valet otherwise you have to park on the street or take a cab.

DJ was great!

I would recommend this spot if you live right by it otherwise don't waist your time here.
