Vallemar Station

Great little place on Hwy 1 in Pacifica.  I am trying to go to a different spot every time I visit my daughter.. This place is old school yummy.  My daughter had the veal scallopini and I had the pot roast.  Great comfort food!  Have the chowder!

If you relish prime rib then Vallemar Station ranks right up there with other noted eateries like the House of Prime Rib in San Francisco. Other dishes my family have tried and commented favorably on are the panko crusted red snapper and Sunday's fried chicken special. The only disappointing meal I had was the very dry meat loaf special that is periodically offered as a special.

As others have noted, Vallemar Station's beverages are pretty well crafted, but they are also served in smallish glasses. Cosmos and martinis, for example, are at least 1/4 less generous in portion size compared to other establishments in the area.

All in all, Vallemar's food selections are well prepared and worth many return trips.

The Burger is phenomenal here. Made to order to perfection, Pricy but worth it. Everything else is just OK at best.
