The Surf Spot

This establishment desperately needs John Taffer from Spike TV's "Bar Rescue" for the staff. I went to Taco Tuesday for the second time. I went after 8:00PM on purpose hoping that it wouldn't be full. We had to wait in front of the Wizard of Oz curtain because there bar area is inadequate. I think there are only 8 seats. Once again, the waitress seemed overwhelmed. I think she had too many tables. It takes way too long to get a cocktail or even ice water. We want this restaurant to succeed by having been there 5 times it's the same old problem. Food quality excellent, service is below expectations. We go out frequently for dinner and hope that these reviews get them on track soon.

Looks like they worked out the kinks because this place is the bomb! Drinks are scrumptious,  Taco Tuesday's are memorable and affordable,  and you can't beat the music and the crowd! Not to mention,  they allow dogs on the back patio of the restaurant. Perfect hang out spot.

we was chillin in the park waiting for the sun to go down....

- PRICES, catered party
- SERVICE, very good
- AMBIANCE, loved it

Although there really wasn't any sun today on this side of the world, we still chilled. I think sometimes Pacifica is overlooked because of the gloominess above. Well, if you can looks pass the fog, they actually do have some decent places. My homegirl set up a catered birthday celebration(s) at Cabana #2. The cabanas are cute, have your own seating, outdoor fireplace, second floor deck, and flat screen tv... ALSO a live band playing on the stage for you to enjoy. Food was catered so I'm not even complaning - set up was great. It felt really good to see everyone and be with good people I haven't seen in HELLA. It is a kid friendly environment so it was nice to see the kiddies running around enjoying themselves. We ate, we laughed, we caught up, and just kicked it like how grown folks kick it. Catching up, the best part of the day were the comments my friends (homegirls and homeboys) made about that triffling hoe and how she looks like a f'n man and has a camel looking face. I didn't say it, THEY did. And I'm not disagreeing.

HEFFER STATUS

CHEESE PLATE - crackers, fruits (fresh and dried), cheeses, nuts, veggies and dip. I'm suprised of their cheese plate, pretty impressive.

CHICKEN WINGS - baked and then fried. Pretty good, but I wish the skin had more crunch.

SALAD - typical "asian" tasting salad. Not much to describe.

CALAMARI - Their calamari was pretty good, kind of thick on the breading but doeable.

PIZZAS - they kept bringing out pie after pie. I dipped into the pepperoni and sausage. Loved it, this crunch crusted and baked. Kinda greasy but pizza is usually always greasy.

Will I be back? Sure why not.
