Surf Lounge

Went this past weekend for my friends birthday and was expecting just a regular place. Got there around 10 and there wasn't that many people. Kind of quiet and awkward as the time went by more and more people came in and the people changed the music to more upbeat and it started getting fun. The bouncer and bartender were really awesome super good attitudes. Drinks were good alot of cream or nice cream and flavored drinks on the menu but good ones. The zombie lives up to its name. Overall a great experience! Def coming back!

One year later and I make my second attempt to enjoy this place. This time, we made it more than 5 feet in. A little bit of a younger crowd this time around. The bartender was talkative and funny. I happen to walk around the corner in the bar to find a couch, darts and games. It was a good time.
Oh, and they play great music.

Well, what can I say?.  My family and I were staying at the Pacifica RV Resort and wanted to go find something fun to do.  I had already had a few beers in me before me, my son, nephew, and son's girlfriend headed over to the Surf Lounge.  We started chatting with one of the local developer that claimed to have developed all these expensive areas within the Pacific Heights area.  I was so drunk I thought he said Citrus Heights thinking he commuted all the way to Sacramento.   Anyway, a few screwdrivers later is pretty much where I drew a blank.  My son and nephew tell me I h been letting out a little gas and the staff starting spraying Febreeze.  The guy we were talking to, kept saying "what is that smell?"  and apparently I just laughed it off.  The evening finally came to an end after my nephew ordered me a Long Island Ice Tea and I accidently knocked all the glasses off of our table. That was about the time when one of the staff came over and said "You need to leave."  My son and nephew walked me out propped me up against a post and conveniently located a shopping cart at the nearby Safeway.  I woke up the next morning with bruises and bumps all over my body apparently because as they wheeled me through the parking lot in the shopping cart, the shopping cart  fell over multiple times, therefore causing the bruising and bumps.  I don't think I will ever live that one down.  A word to the wise.....Don't drink and cart!!!!
