A great place, dog friendly, and pleasant staff.  Enjoy the shepherd's pie!

I brought friends visiting from out of town here last night.  Found a fly in my food and lost my appetite.  The waitress didn't apologize nor offer to take my dish off the bill. Even before I found the bug, the food wasn't much better than the service.  I won't be coming back here again.

You guys realize this place is a chain right? Seriously they swap out the state name and put it in another locality with local beers. Besides that the food is all the same. The food quality has declined over the years, not sure what happened. Anyways ttry the Rachel. Avoid the sweet potato fries, sometimes they fail to replace the oil and you get sick.

"I have been going here for 25 years, and it just keeps getting better"
I walked in and noticed they were doing some nice remodeling! I drank a COLD beer (I noticed people's comments about warm beer? Mine was colder than usual). The beer is an incredibly rare sour style, its called Tulach Leis, and is aged for over a year and brewed on premises. IT WAS ONLY $5.00!!!! Now that was almost as refreshing as the beer.
The menu is broad, low priced and surprisingly has a lot of local input! Thats not a combination I see often in Burlington. The local burger is $6.00!! That just can't be beat anywhere, except maybe a butcher shop. It was cooked perfectly, and I got a side of fries. The total cost was still less then anywhere else in town.
I don't know the staff, but there were a lot of familiar faces I have seen in the past 25 years. The servers are about business but clearly have a good time. That is really nice to see, when most restaurants turn people into stressballs.

The vpb is one of my favorite restaurants anywhere! It has everything I am looking for.
My wife and I were both pleased with the experience and will continue to go back time after time!

I have been here MANY times (I wanted to give it a fare shake) and I can tell you..these things are consistant here...

    1. all around bad service..staff couldn't care less if the place is slow, or when they are busy there are WAY too many tables per server so they are running around like crazy and cannot give good service.

    2. bad food...food is pretty bland. It always comes out either cold or looking like it has sat under a heat lamp for 40 minutes.

    3. SLOW!...doesn't matter if the place is full or empty. Be prepared to wait for your food, and I mean like an hour minimum. Don't go in hungry already..you'll get mad.

On a positive note I do like the beer. They serve it a bit on the warm side, not really my thing. But I do understand that traditionally beer is not meant to be ice cold. I will give them some benefit of the doubt and assume that this is what they are going for.

I'm seeing some negativity in a lot of the recent reviews, but I had a very good experience here.

I like that they have a good selection of really interesting beers that are brewed on site.  I had an IPA, a Russian imperial stout, and their Forbidden Fruit.  All were of very high quality and reasonably priced.  The Forbidden Fruit, though,  was not really my cup of tea, being more like a cider.

I was pleasantly surprised with the fish and chips I ordered.  They serve up a really big piece of cod, and it's not overly breaded.

The ambience is good, and it's pleasant to sit at the front bar with the big windows looking out on the street scene.

Some things on the menu are ok (the fish sandwich and sweet potato fries are decent) and some beers are good, but inconsistent (Black IPA and Forbidden Fruit). But much of the food is poor and the beers can be terrible. One of the members of our party ordered a beer that was not drinkable and should never be sold to the public. We all tried it and agreed, someone said something to the waitress and they did not offer to get a different beer.

Though it has one of the best locations and a nice outdoor seating area, I wont be going back for a while.

Came here looking for a local brew and a decent meal while on vacation.  I ordered a sampler of the Irish Ale and the Euro Dunk.  The Irish Ale was warm, flat and had little flavor.  The Euro Dunk was very good, but was a little syrupy for me.

I ordered the 1/3rd pound cheeseburger which was not 1/3rd of a pound.  I took four bites out of my roll before I hit any meat.  The cheese was good and plentiful.  I don't think I've ever had more cheese on a burger before.  I ordered my burger medium and it came out well done, but was still juicy.  I also ordered a side of mayo, but received honey mustard.  The honey mustard was actually pretty good though so I used it.

Overall not very satisfied.  The beer wasn't very good which at a pub & brewery should be paramount.  The food wasn't bad, but it was definitely the worst food I've had in Vermont thus far.

All I have to say is that VPB is nothing more than a train wreck. Well hell you would get better service AT a train wreck. And hell eating a dead body might even taste better than their food. Just do your self a favor if you see this place...Just keep on walking.

First of of all we got here for a Birthday dinner for a friend around 9pm on a Saturday night. The crowd was small and to be honest it wasn't to busy. So we thought "Perfect!". The host here was pretty nice and sat us inside as we requested.

We all sat down and ordered drinks, food and apps. I got a class of cold apple cider. Only for it to be served to me and I tasted it and it tasted OLD. It was pretty nasty. So I changed it to a root beer. Who what? Same thing. They mix their own sodas and it was again just bad. My girlfriends lemonade was noting more than a glorified lemon water. Huge waste of $1.99 per drink.

The food was also just plain bad. Poppers came out over cooked my wrap was missing its cheese and some of the veggies I ordered. The girlfriends BLT was cold and damp from sitting to long. So over all the food was nasty and we left hungry.

Our waitress never came over to see how we were doing. But she was happy to give us our bill. We had not been rude in any shape or form. Not sure how they manage to stay open. The service is god awful and we will not be returning anytime soon. This is a place I can not even recommend for its beer. Just do your self a favor a go else where. Never thought I'd say this....But the chains are way better than VPB.

Have stopped three or four times when in Burlington and really like the beer!  The bartenders, two different gals, seemed detached and distant.  No nice greeting or small talk such as welcome, how was your day?  I will go back and give it another try though.

    3.5 stars.

Hostess was clueless....but the bartenders were amazing.

Great place to watch the Sox Royals game. Very great local clientele base....with a ton of ales, beers, and libations.

I like that you can try 3oz of various ales.

Food looks pretty darn good too......It is very busy though on the weekends.

The "Meh. I've experienced better." that pops up when you select 2 stars as your rating completely and perfectly characterizes our visit here.
Although it was still light outside, we walked in here and immediately felt like it was midnight.  It was so dark!  I'm not talking about mood lighting - I'm talking dark in a dingy, put-you-to-sleep kind of way.  The decor was weird and lacking in a unified theme.  On the walls behind the bar they had stapled up some dollar bills, foreign currency, some computer print-out photos of people (who? I donno), and some beer awards from the 90's.

My boyfriend and I each wanted to get a little sampler of different pours.  The bartender, who barely mustered a greeting when we sat down, handed us two coasters and just had us write down our orders ourselves on the back of the coasters.  Yeah?  Okay.  Whatever.  By all means - I came here on vacation to do your job for you.

Our beers were all warm.  All of them.  Why?  We finished our beers, were underwhelmed by them all, and got our check from another bartender (since our first one never came back over to us to check on us or see if we needed anything...).

This was our least favorite place during our 4-day stay in Burlington.

I love Vermont. Who doesn't right? All that green, and then all the great fresh air?

Burlington is a college town, and a nice one at that. Lovely views of Lake Champlain, the Adirondacks, and everything else. We didn't stay in this city, but we drove here to spend the day from Stowe (another gem of a city).

To the point: Vermont Pub & Brewery is GOOD EATS (as Alton Brown would say...). Both of us had burgers, a basket of fries,  and split a beer sampler...then we got more beer and dessert  to finish the meal off. It was satisfying, tasty, and perfect :)

If you're in Burlington, check it out!!

Cheap and very good for the price! The food is ok, the standard pub food, house beers also ok.  Nothing outstanding about this place but it was a haven for me in my college years, because it was a great place to eat and get food without breaking the bank.

Really good beer for a local brewery, and good food as well.  Came here Sunday night on a ski vacation (after a recommendation to avoid Saturday nights at the pub due to the large college crowd).  We sampled a variety of beers - between cheap pints and samplers, you can't go wrong.  I liked the Dogbite bitter surprisingly well considering I'm not an ESB fan.  The Lake Champlain Chocolate Stout was super chocolately (and good), and the Euro Dunk was a really good dunkel.  I wasn't the biggest fan of the Silk pale ale (not much flavor) or the Blackwatch IPA (tasted more malty than hoppy to me), but they were still decent.  We forgot about the mint porter on the specials board - would've loved to try it!

Good pub food with a variety of options.  I was disappointed they were out of the roasted vegetable soup, but the spinach salad with teriyaki chicken hit the spot.

Oh and the housemade dijon mustard is a winner!  My dad loved it so much he joked about taking home the half empty jar from our table (yes, we ate the other half between 3 of us)... but luckily for him, and the brewery, they sell it for $5 a jar so he got to take home a full one.

Would definitely come here again on another trip to Burlington!

When they say "Has TV", they mean "A" TV, as in one. This is not a place to catch a game, unless you arrive early and bogart the one table in front of the single big screen.

Well, technically there is another tv, a ~20" old CRT type.

We were hoping this would be a good place to watch the superbowl, but after walking in and seeing the place, we did an immediate about-face and grabbed a six pack and pizza to watch it in the comfort of our own home, with the same size TV that they had there.

I'm not a fan of pub food as a food genre but I've got to admit this place is pretty good. The menu (the thing you read, not the stuff you eat) is craziness but worth the effort. To be honest, though, the best parts of the meal were not so much the main part of the meal but odd little things like the good salad and coleslaw. The wine spritzer want nowhere ("there was wine in that?") Burleigh beer is great.

Great food, good prices! We stopped here and had several appetizers, some beers, and just warmed up from the cold. Their own beers were very good and the food was delicious. Service was great, too. Only downside is that they do not have brewery tours to the public - only to those who have tickets/are part of the Burlington pub crawl.

Great place with very reasonable prices and a large selection of beers. Fun atmosphere with lots of VT memorabilia. Several vegetarian options, but with lots of cheese.

I loved this restaurant. They have a great selection of home brewed and local beers and the sampling prices are fantastic @ 6-3 oz. samples for $6 (at least from a NYers prospective)!  I loved that they offer jugs of beer as well. The dogbite was my favorite.

The staff is friendly and fast and they are happy to explain menu items. The decor is dim with lots of wooden accents, but I like my breweries-especially in the mountains-to be on the darker side, so I wasn't as offended by the rustic atmosphere as other reviewers seem to be.

Food portions are average to large and while the food is not award winning gourmet, it is above average for pub food.

Sadly I wasn't as big a fan of the beers as I was expecting. But for the first stop on a semi-pubcrawl, it did the job. Some snacks, a sampler of 6 brews, and I left there with a half-full belly and a half-tipsy self.
    Score!

Less carbonated than the typical American beer. The beer list is impressive but the beers don't live up.  The redeeming quality is they offer samplers for $1 each so you don' t invest much.

I'd go to other places which offer much better beers.

    "Awesome!!!"

That's what I wrote to draft my review on my phone so that I could finish it when I got home, and this place really was. I must say, for a pub they have amazing food. And affordable as well!

I ordered the butternut squash and cranberry soup to start, and oh. My. God. I'm a big soup person, especially butternut, and this one sent me over the moon. It was so rich, so creamy and so perfectly seasoned, words cannot express. Had I been in the privacy of my own home, I would have licked the bowl clean.

I also got the Tequila Chicken Salad, it was a very generous portion and the chicken was grilled perfectly. It was tender and juicy and the marinade they used had a nice kick to it.

They've got a great beer selection as well, I can't recall the specific ones ordered but they all tasted good.

Our experience was delicious all around, everyone was a happy camper after eating here. Hats off!

Having known Greg since the opening of VPB as a fellow brewer, I can understand clearly why we have all these negative reviews. The timeline will coincide with his death, no doubt, and probably it's gone consistently downhill from then. Greg was a detail man and never stopped watching over things, except to travel and help others learn the art of brewing. By the way, he's the main person to thank for small breweries in Vermont. He helped write the legislation and push for the laws. My friends and I would stop in all the time for the same lager and the awesome seafood chowder.
I've had the same crappy food and service that everyone else has and refuse to go back and waste my money there. There are over 100 better places in town to go to. Sorry, but the place is a has-been. Time to close and let someone else start over fresh.
Not sure if you can put a link in here but why not try.
This is a blurb about Greg's death and the type of person he was. It's a shame that his dream is dying a slow, ugly death.

    I don't get it.

With a name like 'Vermont Pub & Brewery', you'd think they'd serve beer at the proper temperature. I mean, since they brew their own beer, they must know that a beer should not be served a shade above room temperature?

While we didn't eat here, I won't go back in the future.

    Service:
The waitress seemed rushed when we sat ourselves (no one was at the door greeting us). There was one beer menu for the four of us, and she came over within a few seconds asking what we wanted. Well, I don't know what I want, I literally just sat down and you have a bunch of beers so give me a minute?

Then, the waitress was leaving from her shift and asked if we could pay the check so she could leave.

    Beer:
The beer was single note. I'm not sure how it's award-winning. Very hoppy, all of them, with no range. The fact that they were served near room temperature probably didn't help matters much.

I ordered a sampler and the waitress couldn't be bothered to tell me which was which. Instead, she threw a hand-written note down and said "I think these are in the same order, but I'm not sure".

    Atmosphere:
    Dirty & dark. Unwelcoming.

You couldn't bribe me to go here and try the food, I'd be scared of getting sick

In Burlington now the bar is much higher. This used to be really good but now I think I am in the its not you its me mode. Had chili and a ruben. Both unremarkable. Their chili used to be one of my favorites now there just hiding average chili under a pile of crap cheese.
The ruben was very greasy and featured decent corned beef and too much packaged sauerkraut.
The beers do seem to be overly warm but I think they are going for the cask conditioned english brews. I went for an IPA and it just didnt taste finished and was flattish but that may also mean they are going for the english thing.

This is supposedly a brewery, but I feel that the IPA I drank was too flat and smooth to be considered an IPA.  Our food was decent, but a bit messy.

Our service was alright until we received our food.  At that point, we did not see our server again until well after we'd finished eating and drinking our beer.  My glass probably sat empty for a good fifteen minutes.

    My suggestion?  Stay away.

I was just looking at my profile and realized my rating distribution was a little on the high side. "I gotta try some mediocre places rather than just going to the highly rated joints" I thought. Then I remembered this brewery I walked to with a coworker when in Burlington....

I like New England. I want to find more about it I like, I really want to say this brewery was wonderful. I can't.

The beer was very average and very warm. That's probably because it was so hot in the dining room. I know it's Vermont, but summer does happen there and they should be prepared with air conditioning.

I tried the pulled pork pie on recommendation by our server. The barbecue was like what you would get at a concession stand at a ballpark. If it was made there, I would be shocked and the kitchen should be embarrassed. The whole dish was just very bland.

The service was unremarkable, no one there seemed particularly thrilled to be there. I wasn't thrilled to be there when I worked food service either, but I faked it pretty well.

I don't know Burlington well enough to be able to tell you if you can do better in that area, but I sure hope you can.

I came here for lunch with my family last week when we were visiting Burlington for the day. Admittedly, we came here to get another stamp on our Vermont Brewer's Challenge Passport. However, we were pleasantly surprised by not only how good the beer was, but the food as well.

For the beer, I had their raspberry and their sour ales. Both were great - I'm generally anti-fruit beer as it can quickly turn wine cooler nasty, but this raspberry was well executed. Perfect balance of beer taste meets real fruit taste. Boom.

As for the food, the grass fed beef burger and sweet potato fries, while simple, are delicious. Perfectly cooked to order and a great accompaniment to my boozy vacation lunch.

The outdoor seating area is great. If you're sitting near the edge you can see down to the water.

I'm always happy with my experience at the VT Pub & Brewery. I've been twice in the past two years, and I love it.

Great food, and awesome beer. I love how their menu is like a newspaper, filled with fun facts about beer too.

I love the VT cheese sampler, and the beer sampler. The cheese sampler comes with different types of VT cheese, paired with slices of apples and crackers to clear your palate. The beer sampler is a good price for the types and amount of beer that you are getting.

Service is pretty good. My one complaint was when I was sitting at the bar nearest to the front. It was nighttime, and it was warm as heck. Some air conditioning please!

Other than that, great place. I always make it a point to stop here when I'm visiting VT.

    My favourite undergrad hangout.

It's called the Vermont Pub & Brewery, so let's get straight to the real business. Their beer is awesome. I often have a Snakebite from hard Vermont Cider and their house ale, but everything I've ever had there was utterly delicious and spoiled me for anything other than perfect microbrews.

Their food? Also awesome. The giant plate of nachos is great split with your bestie as an appetizer (or at least that's how I roll). I fell in love with sweet potato fries at this joint - they're hand cut with just the right amount of skin left on, and always cooked to (not too greasy) perfection. I love their turkey burger and their fish and chips platter (with the sweet potato fries, Dixie meets Dagenham, what can I say?). Those are my two standards, two proper pub standards, and this place never disappoints.

Any time other than Friday and Saturday night, the service has always been friendly and attentive (without being that creepy stalker kind of friendly where they come over every four seconds when your mouth is full). On prime nights the place is always slammed (And I do mean slammed - like prison shower slammed) and the service tends to suffer a bit in the hustle and bustle.

When the weather is nice, it's best to sit on the patio, which is raised above the sidewalk, so you don't have that awkward moment where a Church St. passerby stands two feet away from you fighting with her boyfriend at full volume on the cellphone or an errant hand grazes your shoulder.

I could not recommend a better place for casual nummy bits with friends.

Really enjoyed this place on multiple occasions!

The menu is presented in a newspaper, which has a rather large selection of food to choose from- seriously, there is something for everyone on this list! It also lets you read up on the place with this history-I always enjoy this when I am in town and trying out a new place.

The Shepherd's Pie is very filling and comforting. I would absolutely have it again. Hot turkey sammy and the burgers were very good as well.

As a craft beer kind of girl, I knew I would enjoy this place! I have sampled and enjoyed many of their beers over my visits and have yet to have a beet I didn't like. One of my favorites was a raspberry beer- it was very fruity, the beer was a raspberry color and it was incredibly strong!

I preferred dining outside on the patio and enjoying the Burlington sunshine. I have also dined inside and it definitely gets the pub vibe right!

I dont understand all the hype and good reviews for this place. I've been here several times and have been disappointed almost all of them, but my last visit this weekend has forced me to never return and to finally write a review.
The Host was a bald rude prick who has no idea what he is doing. The server was pretty rude as well.
How come every time i get beer here it is warm and flat? most disgusting beer ive ever had. do yourself a favor and go the the zero gravity brewery across the street at american flatbread. the only good thing about this place is the food is cheap, i didnt say it was the greatest, cause its not, just decently priced for what you get.

This was my bar away from home while staying in Burlington for a few weeks. Their Tulach Leis, a Flemish sour, is absolutely a must try..and try.. and try again. Drool. Their affordable, in-house beers offer enough varietals to cover just about any taste.. Be sure to ask about what experimental small batch they have on for the week!
Jay, Vickie and the rest of the bar staff are great, and a fascinating array of local and visiting characters always keeps things interesting when you're saddled up to the bar. Cheers!

Having reached the turn-around point of a random road trip through Vermont, we were quite hungry and glad to be in a city where we could go find some good food.  After wandering around Burlington's pleasant downtown and declining several places on the basis of too-fancy, too take-out-y, too not-in-the-mood-for, we found the Vermont Pub & Brewery, which immediately seemed like the Goldilocks option.

Even with a lengthy wait, we'd made up our minds, and immediately grabbed a beer at the bar.  The bar is pleasant and greenhouse-y, but was crowded.  Fortunately, there's a sizable patio where you can wait outside with a beer even if it's not set up for eating outside.  There is a long list of beers, and they seem to have a pretty distinguished history of winning awards.  I was quite happy with an IPA and a porter that i chose, and could easily have kept experimenting if it weren't for the whole three-hour drive back to Boston looming.

Anyway, there's also a sprawling, kinda dark dining room, and at some point we got to sit down and eat.  They've got a good selection of pretty standard pub fare (i liked the chicken sandwich i had), and the service was friendly and prompt.  So we got back on the road sated and happy.

Next time i'll plan on being in Burlington longer.  So i can drink more beer, outside and eat more food.

My boyfriend and I wanted to try a new place, so we stopped by Vermont Pub and Brewery.

The beer selection is great - a sampler is available for $6, where you select the six beers you'd like to try from a list.  I'm not a beer person. In fact, I hated beer, until yesterday. The "forbidden fruit" is a delicious, light, raspberry infused beer, that barely tastes like beer.  A definite must try!

I had the cajun fried calamari (about $5) and mesclun salad (about $4) with the honey-chili vinaigrette (the only home-made option).  The calamari were really quite awful. It seems like they were poached in oil rather than fried. They were small, soggy and greasy.  The salad was one of typical greens and julienned carrots, and the vinaigrette had a nice hint of spice.  My boyfriend has the top sirloin steak (nicely cooked and flavourful) with salad and steamed broccoli (also nicely cooked).

Service was friendly. Overall, a good place to grab a drink or a bite, but the calamari are to be avoided.

VPB has always been a great fall back bar for me when I lived in Vermont and now when ever I return for a visit.

Reading through the below reviews, I see most of the main areas have been covers, so I will focus on what I like about this place.

    1.  Sit at the bar alone and you will not be alone for long.  From locals to tourists, this is one of the easiest places I have been to make new friends.  The TV's are always on some game, or ESPN 8.  in other words there are always sports to talk about with new people.

    2. Music.   Great bands play here on a regular basis.  The sound is good, though conversation becomes difficult in the main room while they play.  But the times are well posted and if you are not in the mood for music it is easy to find another place for food.

    3. Location.  being a block off of church street helps to stems the crowds, and makes it wasier to get a table outside while the weather is nice.  it is a short down hill walk to the water front to help burn off all the beer and burgers you just ate.

    4. The service has always been friendly.  Maybe not prompt, but friendly.

I would love to give this place a 5 star review -- I was SO close to really loving it!

    Good things:

Wait was not bad, just enough time to grab a drink with friends at the bar - which was cool/right by the windows/fun vibe.

The beer was great - bartender was friendly - chatted with us on the fact that we were just coming back from the Magic Hat brewery and were in 'Brewery Mode' with a few questions about theirs.

I specifically asked for a high top table and they delivered [without added waiting time]

They have board games! Naturally we broke out the connect four.

Now had we been there for drinks and apps -- fine, I would have loved it.  Up to that point it was a lot of fun, we were ordering up a storm of brews and apps.

    Now the bad:

But -- we were starving so next it was time for food.  Now in all honesty - its not the foods fault .. I was a server for many years - things are undercooked/over cooked etc etc... the problem was how the manager handled the situation.  I ordered my salmon blackened/burnt -- I love salmon and Ive ordered it PLENTY of times like this [it's ALWAYS come out fully cooked].. however, this time my salmon came out raw inside -- some black on the outside but completely uncooked inside.  With service/food being pretty slow - by the time I got around to grabbing the server about it - everyone at my table was done eating and I was left with a full plate and an empty stomach.

Typically, not a big deal, cook me my salmon and ill eat it - except we were all tired - we've been out and about drinking for a good portion of the day and it just made for really poor timing for this to happen -- the only bad part was that it seemed like no one cared about our experience -- which was not a very hard thing to do considering we were having a great time at the restaurant thus far... just some minor food issues that should have been easy to fix.

The manager finally came over and I explained to her what the problem was... and since everyone at my table was done eating and my food was served uncooked, that I would not be paying for the salmon.  She then criticized me and told me I had ordered it the wrong way and short of yelling at me - she treated me anger and insult rather than any version of professionalism and respect.  I was shocked and hurt and upset that someone in the service industry, representing the establishment, would treat a patron this way [especially a first time customer who was excited to be there] -- I was so upset I had tears in my eyes and had to leave the table.

I have never been treated like this before - having worked in the food service industry for many many years - I know it's TOP priority to accommodate your customers and make sure they leave happy. I felt lousy and sick leaving VT pub -- That woman should not be in the service industry. *Pick on someone your own size lady!

*UPDATE: After posting the fact that I had a poor experience at their restaurant on their facebook page, hoping for a response or an interest in what went wrong -- they DELETED the post and said NOTHING! - What is wrong with these people!?

Had I not been here last night, based on my prior experience here I would have likely given VP&B a 4 star review. I came here last year and have very good memories of a delicious cheese plate, crunchy sweet potato fries, and a smoky yummy porter.

Last night I came here with 3 others for dinner. We arrived early (5:45) and were told we'd have a 30-40 minute wait. That was fine, we went into the bar which was uber crowded, and got a beer. The smoked porter was as delicious as I remember it.

At about 6:30 I checked in since my buzzer hadn't gone off and we had been waiting for a table for an hour. When i went to check in, I noticed that the guy who was seating people seated 2 groups of people who were seemingly his friends and were not on the list. After waiting an hour, that pissed me off. We were seated at about 6:50.

I tried a sampler of 4 different beers (Burly, Dogbite (i *think* that's what it was called- it was the ESB), Pale Ale, and IPA). I can honestly say that all of them, even the IPA, were some of the most flavorless beer I've ever tried. I was totally bummed and wished I had just ordered another smoked porter since I know I like it.

I had also been looking forward to the food. The food came out quickly but it just wasn't that good. I got a cheese plate which had 6 one ounce pieces of cheese (all good) with an apple in the middle of the plate and about 12 saltines. Just nothing really there. I had to ask for some condiments to dress it up a bit. last time I had it I remember having a few nice hunks of cheese on a board with crackers and honey. They should add pickles or something. Just really dull. I also ordered the sweet potato fries and they came out totally cold.

Overall just a really disappointing trip and I don't have the fond memories of VP&B that I used to have!
