Was just here for lunch during a very brief visit to the homeland.
Upon entering, my first impression was how airy the restaurant was. Â Very high ceilings with a nice open floor plan. Â Smoking to the left, non to the right, with a bar straight ahead. Â Not too many people in here, probably because it's very new and suburbanites eat at chains too much. Â And, ya know, it was Monday afternoon.
Service was prompt and very friendly, though our waitress seemed inexperienced. Â Nice varied menu with lots of authentic greek dishes. Â I had the saganaki and the quail. Â The saganaki was, as it is seemingly everywhere, very tasty. Â The quail itself was very nice, though the light breading on the outside was way too salty. Â The other dishes that I was able to steal a bite of were pretty good as well.
Overall, I'd say that this is a good place (especially considering the other options in the area) that seems to have some quirks that will be worked out in time. Â For a restaurant that's only been open a week or two, I was pleased.
