Ward's Publick House Inc

Pub food kinda place. Beer isn't really cold. Was told by bartender that she wasn't allowed to chill a glass in cooler for our next beer. Draft beer a bit expensive. Kind of creepy the owner sits at end of bar with a stuffed animal taking up seat next to him and just seems to watch everyone. Guess he doesn't want anyone sitting next to him. Doesn't make an effort to get up and say hello to his patrons.  Don't hate the place, food was ok. But those little things I mentioned makes me not want to Mae an effort to get back there.

I like Ward's.  It has a hole-in-the-wall feel to it, a few booths and tables, a big bar, and great fish-n-chips.  I recommend the Irish Coffee.  Not the best in town, but probably my 2nd favorite .  Nice bar keepers who are happy to serve.

My husband and I came here the evening before St.Pat's, figuring that we would still get a great deal or a special. NOTHING

I was surprised at the limited menu. The Shepards pie was okay, a bit dry and could use some "dressing up" (I mean even for bland Irish food...it was bland)

They didn't really have any irish stew or anything of the sort... kind of disappointed and also  overpriced :(

However, The waitress was great!
