Not a bad little joint. I don't feel like it offers a whole lot of personality. If someone were to ask me what Whiskey Chicks is like... I would just say a bar. The service wasn't bad at all. I don't make it down to Bricktown a whole lot anymore... But I would be willing to give Whiskey Chicks another try.
Review Source:A friend and I stopped here after a Thunder game Friday night. The fact that there was no cover charge definitely made me happy because I think it's dumb that some places make you pay just to enter their bar. After getting our IDs checked, we found a table right away in front of the stage where 3 Guys on a Corner was performing live. They had great energy and I liked their cover songs. They also performed some jazz which I really enjoyed. When the band is playing, it's impossible to have a conversation because it's very loud.
We were given 3 different menus which contained a wide variety of drinks and food options. I got my usual Red Bull and vodka which was refilled without being asked. I later found out each glass cost $11.50 which was a bit expensive in my opinion. They had a special on Pabst Blue Ribbon and whiskey shot for $5 - what a deal!
My friend and I also ordered some chicken poppers which came with your choice of fries so we chose crack tots. They were probably the best tater tots I'd ever eaten! They were coated with some kind of cheese which gave it a kick of flavor. And they only cost $8. Their chicken fried chicken was also really good and it came with 2 sides.
I'm in Bricktown at least twice a week and I can't believe I've never checked this place out! It's a great place to hang out with awesome music and food. Our waitress, Sarah, was friendly and so was everyone else who worked here. Oh, and they have really HOT bouncers!!!
A surprisingly good little bar in downtown Oklahoma City.  With a name like Whiskey  Chicks I wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised to end up here after walking around aimlessly trying to find a respite to have a drink and wait for friends to arrive. Â
The waitresses were quick, efficient and exceedingly nice and I was never bereft of a beer during my stay here. Â I groaned a bit when I saw the live band start tuning up to play but just like my surprise at how nice this litte bar was - the band was just as good playing a mix of 80s, 90s and originals but nicely done with a unique twist. Â I didn't catch their name but they were one of the best local cover bands I've seen in awhile.
The bathrooms are a bit awkward in that the doors (of both sexes) open directly in view of the other patrons, which was a tad bit awkward. Overall, a nice litte bare and a good time.
Saturday night, looking for a cougar? You've come to the right spot!!
This place was pretty cool, live music, mixed crowd. Young, old, medium, a lot of the older crowd though.
Was pretty easy to find a seat, wasn't too crowded for a Saturday.
The service was pretty good, she even gave me a red bull since I was dd!! YAY!!
All in all I enjoyed myself, the live music was great and the crowd wasn't to crazy. Perfect in my mind.
We couldn't get a slot for bowling so we headed here. The place was not terribly crowded for a Saturday night and we sat down right away. The service was great, and we sat against the wall where we could listen to the music and talk pretty well.
The waitress was quick and gave a recommend for awesome beers.
I didn't dance, or taste the food but the people were good and feel was right, and music was live rock and blues. It was a fun time.
This was actually one of the nicer bars in OKC. I'm new here so been looking for places to go to and Whiskey Chicks is definitely a chill bar with a nice atmosphere. I went on a thursday night so it was kinda empty but I was there for an event so there was enough people. They had a live band that was pretty good but they were really loud! I had trouble hearing the people next to me. One of the best things about this place: its not clouded in smoke like other bars! When I got home I didn't smell like an ashtray, which I was thankful for! They also have TVs everywhere so you can watch the game.
The alcohol was so good! They had a really big variety so it was fun to try different drinks. I had a shot of cherry vodka which was so smooth and delish! The thing to get there though is their whiskey shot, its so good! Not hard and bitter like most other whiskey I've had. They also have a deal where if you buy a can of beer and whiskey shot its only $5 whereas a shot by itself is $6. My friend had their cinnamon shot (crazy right?) and apparently it was AMAZING!! Will definitely be trying that next time I go there.
I'm not one for bars but this was nice and I wouldn't mind going back there again. Bonus: the bartenders are really friendly and nice!
Every time my boyfriend and I visit whiskey chicks, we have the best time! Â Kevin and Levi are premium. Â They even have a new menu and I tasted the grilled veggie wrap and it's delish and the crack tots are a must try - drizzled with white truffle oil and parmesan cheese. Â My honey loves the wings here. Â
Live music is good. Â And we usually have to take a cab home because the cocktails are fabulous!
Best Bar in OKC!
Still can't get over how cheap drinks are out here. I got their special drink that night, the "honey do". It was jack Daniels melon and lemonade...loved it! Â It was quieter when we showed up around 8:30 but really picked up after that. Bee sat at the bar and there was a band so it got a little loud. Good place to hang with friends over drinks but not if you're trying to have solid conversations. The bar staff incredibly friendly! Â No cover either!
Review Source:I didn't sample the food, so I can't speak for that.
Came here on a Fri nite with coworkers. The drinks menu definitely provides lots of really cool options. It allows you to really craft a drink based on the frame of mind you're in! I was pleased that they have Lambic, too. Too many places in OKC have zero imagination when it comes to bevs. Plus the waitstaff were helpful and attentive.
My hesitation comes from the live music. It was so loud and the group was so .... Uh.... not my cup of tea that I just resigned myself to laughter. The band was certainly young and energetic but I could've done without hearing a violin rendition of "baby" by Justin bieber, plus mini renditions of songs by Rob Thomas and other forgettables.
That said, I'm never keen on live music at bars (so there you go) and this could've been a fluke. But I would've rather  been able to have an actual conversation with my coworkers instead of just communicating via glances that say "Can you believe what we're hearing?"
This new establishment is a MUST go to ! It is so much more than a bar and grill. It is a speakeasy/ restaurant/ sports bar/ music venue. Kevin and Levi, the father/son, owner/bartender, are a breathe of fresh air in Bricktown. Â It is not another boring restaurant franchises.
Kevin is a mixologist and pours a mean cocktail. He and his son have very engaging personalities, which adds to the welcoming feel of this establishment.
The chef is superb! Â His layers of flavors in his dishes are to die for! Â Whiskey, being the theme, adds a new dimension to his dishes. The sliders are superb! Â We did not have his desserts, but they looked wonderful. Â Something to try during our next visit.
There is a DJ or live music, depending on the night.
The name, Whiskey Chicks, conjured up a Coyote Ugly image, to me, but it is far from that! Â It is a place that you can make it what you want it to be...a place to watch your favorite game, a place to eat a great meal, or a place to just enjoy a beverage and feel at home.
This is a must go to place on your next trip to Bricktown!
