I've only been here in the afternoon - usually for one of their delicious sandwiches. Â It is a very friendly place - everyone will talk to you. Â The waitresses/bartenders are friendly as well. Â If you're looking for a cold beer, this is the place, the beer is served in frozen mugs.
There are several tables, but most folks eat at the bar at lunch time. Â They also do a fairly good take out business as well.
Went here last night for the open mic. Do not know what the first reviewer was thinking. This place is not classy in any sense of the word. It is a classic neighborhood dive  bar. It is clean though. Everyone knows everyone here. It is like Cheers, except for the dive bar part. I know the guy who runs the open mic and his wife. They were the ones who asked me to come out. I was the outsider in this group, but I felt very welcome and had some great conversations. Everyone was super friendly. Crowd seems to be a bit older here. From late 20's to late 30's. With a few 50 year old guys around. Everyone was super cool though. I gave this place three stars for two reasons. They serve food, but only during lunch hours. Later in the evening, they were offering free swedish meatballs. I did not try them, but they looked good. And the other, it is just an ok bar. Nothing great, nothing bad. It is a run of the mill local dive bar but it is a nice place to have a few drinks and good conversation. They seem to have good drink specials. The one on Thursdays is $1 domestic drafts. This consists of Bud Light, PBR, and one other maybe. One good thing is, there is a pizza place right next door, and you can order from there and they will bring it to the bar for you. BOOM! Awesome. You know what, the review is now 4 stars for that reason. Some places that don't serve food or at certain times aren't cool with that. So, kudos to White Horse INN!
