Nice chill spot. I had a nice, relaxing time there with my boyfriend. Next time we figure we'll bring more people - so definitely somewhere I'd go back to and tell others to go. This review saying that there is no customer service and do not care about the customer  is trolling... The guys running the show are young, but they're not 'kids'. I found them to be very respectful and sweet people, eager to please there customers and maintain a nice atmosphere. I think the place should automatically have more tables at all the seating areas though, and I wish they served food - or at least SOME HUMMUS! :) please? Also- not their fault, but there's no alcohol... I hate how it's hard to find a hookah lounge in this area that serves alcohol. If you are going- it doesn't hurt to bring some cards or games- I saw some people with a backgammon board, lol. Board games, cards.. lil something to do, or just sit back and mellow out. I recommend ordering the Sweet Melon Mint flavor ~ by the way. The place is a bit out of the way- but I think some folks are being overly paranoid. I didn't feel concerned for my car one bit. I felt safe and fine. I enjoyed the company and the music. The other people there all seemed very chill themselves and nice. I think it's a very nice place to go hangout and bring friends along. Also every1st Thursday of the month they have an open mic poetry night- I haven't been to it yet, but was told the turn-out for it is pretty good, so I'm looking forward to going to there for that.

This place is similar to a garage I do not know how they passed the health inspection ?

Had a great time at Wicked. The couches were comfortable. The smoke was good. I believe I smoked Dirty Jager. It's a mix of pomegrant, jasmine, and mint. Smooth smoke. Blew thick and easy O's. The guy that made our bowl was Big Jay. He did an awesome job hosting and catering to us. Chill hookah session, and the people were friendly. Definitely coming back again soon.

One Start in all aspect for many reasons :
1-It is like you are smoking in a garage.
2-Terrible location. Lack of lighting in the area make you feel unsafe for your car.
3-Runned bye kids with no customer service experience. They are inpatient and they do not Care about customer.
    4-No Wi-Fi
5- Terrible rules . I showed up with my family two of us wanted to order hookah while the rest will get tea 6 of us we could easily spend $100 for an hour in a garage. The cashier wanted to charge us $ 5 extra per person ? Why cover charge if the place have no entertainment and It is not worth it any way .

Service is great! Just expect to wait a while for a seat on weekends

Equivalent to being forced to wait an hour and pay 30 dollars to smoke in someone's crowded garage- all after being told it was a 35 minute wait! Before you know it, we were asked to leave for closing. I think the positive reviews are purely because this is the only hookah lounge around- and in a very shady plaza, I may add. There's plenty of broken glass in the parking lot and you fear for your car as you try to enjoy your smoke. Other positives include the friendly staff and cool mix of house and Middle Eastern music. Unfortunately these nowhere near make up for the shoddy facilities and location. Wouldn't go again.

THE best hookah spot. Im from
San jose and we have never experienced the best service and best variety of flavors and mixes in all of the bay. The people who run this place is very welcoming and represents with the upmost respect. Super chill atmosphere. We love this hookah lounge.

Really chill spot, wish I had known about it earlier.  Hookas are quality, the smoke is nice, music is good.  The employees seem really friendly and help out with the hookas, without being overly intrusive.  There's leather couches to relax on.  All in all I found it very ideal, maybe I wouldn't go all night but an ideal place for a before or after party.

OK I give it 5 stars but just to point out the negatives: it is a little bit out of the way, and it's in a down-market (but not sketchy) shopping strip.  Also, the feel is more like one biggish room, rather than private booths.

Very nice chill atmosphere.  Staff is very accommodating.  I noticed the night I went the tip jar was looking a little light.  Keep in mind they are serving you so even a buck would be nice.

    Good place to hang out.
Very crowded on Friday and Saturday nights. Expect a wait.

The reviews were dead on when they say this place is chill. It had decent (and recent) hip hop music with a splash of middle eastern songs mixed in. The employees were attentive and polite, the atmosphere was intimate and dark, and there was plenty of seating although it was a Tuesday night. We got the white grape which I thought was delicious (I've tried a lot of different flavors in my day and it was very sweet and flavorful). The only reason I nixed a few stars is because there's 2 people to a hookah and each person after that is $5 extra. We had a party of four and one of us didn't smoke so that put a damper on things. My recommendation: don't bring non-smokers, they will be charged . I used my check-in deal ($3 off) but it was still around $23 for four people for an hour. Not my idea of $25 well spent. Would have stayed if there was booze.

This is a very cool and relaxing place. Come on thursday since it's ladies night. Hooka's are half off. My favorite is the Veasy.
Only reason 4/5, is it's a tad expensive

Chill place. Cool people. Ambient music. Comfortable couches.

I don't regularly smoke hookah, but when my girlfriend suggested it, I was more than willing to try.  Dan was quite accommodating and created a special mix for us: Flower Power, Melon Dew, and White Peach. It was quite good!

I would not hesitate to go back. Oh, and when we checked in on Yelp, we got $3 off!

    Great hookah lounge.
Very nice and relaxing during the weekdays and fun during the weekend
the staff is unbelievably nice, helpful and they constantly make sure everyone is being helped.
Wicked Mirage even tries to incorporate other fun activities such as poetry night and even hire a belly dancer on occasion.
Overall this place has: Good music, good tea, good hookah and great customer service, i recommend this hookah lounge to anyone who wants to have nice and relaxing night with friends.

Great flavor specials, some of the best I've ever smoked.

Staff was quite friendly & accomidating. Allowing you to finish smoking your purchase after the establishment has closed. Music was great, evreyone was friendly.

    Reasonably priced.

I just wish this hookah bar would be more....inviting looking when you walk in? You walk into a room full of smoke & people, almost having to struggle to see where your supposed to go, or who you're supposed to talk to. (the staff station to the far back of the room)

Overall, it's a cool hang out in Concord that's 18+.

This was the first hookah bar Ive ever been to and I would def suggest it to friends if theyre looking for a nice, chill place to kick back and relax.  I went there with 2 of my friends for one of their birthdays and we got hooked up with an extra hookah and a mystery flavor! The guy working there was extremely nice and was on it making sure our coals were changed out and making sure we were enjoying ourselves.  There were a ton of flavor choices and you could make up your own concoction if you wanted...everything was also very affordable!

I'm glad that there is now a good 18+ spot for the Concord kids. This place is near my home so I've been a few times. It's nothing fancy and I feel a bit like I've been thrown back into high school judging by the high school crowd, but the prices are fair and it's something to do on say, a Thursday night in Concord!

This is the nearest Hookah place for me and I love this place...
To give you a heads up this place is good for groups and you will find mostly college kids but the owners and staff are very welcoming...

Mention yelp and you get $3 off immediately...

This place gets crowded on week end so you might have to wait..

    Small, affordable and nice place..

My cousin, friend, and I went here over the summer to try our first hookah.

The employee/owner is very accommodating, friendly, and super chill. Since we're new to hookah, he taught us how to smoke it. He also taught us how to do tricks with the smoke, such as the "O" rings. He also made sure to change the coals when our smoke started to feel rough in our throats.

The price for the smoke session was relatively cheap -- there were three of us and we smoked for about 2.5 hours. We were only charged 12 bucks!

When I'm home from college, I'll definitely come back!

I have been going to hookah lounges since I was 18, am now 23, and I honestly can say without a doubt, this is the most disgusting, run down place I have encountered to date. Does not even closely resemble that which is presented in the picture. Coming here on my birthday was a huge mistake, and a waste of money. Not to mention an employee ripped off my boyfriends credit card information and began using it the next day.

Service was awful, most employees were hanging out smoking instead of tending to customers. We waited 25 minutes just to receive one of two hookahs we ordered. Had to ask twice for the second one which arrived some time later, and waited an additional 15 minutes for the coals once both pipes were present. The taste of both was very acrid and rough. The bathroom was disgusting with piss completely covering the toilet and devoid of toilet paper, seat covers and towels. Will certainly never be returning here, would much rather take the time to head into the city or to San Jose than to have to dispute fraudulent credit charges following an already extremely disappointing experience. Really wish I could give minus stars.

Pretty much the best hookah lounge ever. Really. The staff is great and is always there to help you, they bring the hookahs out pretty fast after you order, and its clean. Scott and mike are sexy and so is Dan. Can't forget about Mo and Eddy, they're pretty too...no homo. Tangiers is great you should try it. And hookah is great. I like hookah. I like money. Free money and free hookah would be awesome and it's like the stars outside at night. You never know!

I came here for a night cap... and it was a VERYYY chill place. Great atmosphere. Sucks if you are a girl cause this place is a sausage fest, sorta resembles the sausage counter at your local deli... good thing I bring my own eye candy! Ha!

But anyway, my guest and i were taken to our spot and seated, and within a few minutes the "waiter" I guess you can call him, came to take our order. We ordered sex on the beach flavor and it was just that. Yummy!

Anyway, cool people, helpful staff, wallet friendly, great music, friendly location, and just a nice place to hang back.

    Enjoy people!

Who knew?  A Hookah Lounge in lil ole Concord.  Very cool place, and the  free Wi-Fi is a plus.  They offer a very extensive list of flavored tobacco.  Aromatic scents in the air, relaxing teas, and cool vibes.  No booze though.  Oh yes, must not forget Ladies night with $10 Hookah specials.  Love being a girl!

It was Friday night and we had some coworkers visiting from out of town.  After a long workweek, they were  looking for a hookah lounge to chill at.  We checked out two places in San Francisco.  One was closed and the other was jam packed.  The visitors asked if there was a hookah bar close to the hotel they're staying at in Walnut Creek and I found this place on yelp.  I was kind of surprised that there was one in contra costa county so we decided to give it a shot.  I normally think of hookah bars as something that would be in SF or SJ.

The staff was very friendly and were helpful in making shisha recommendations.  They were very attentive in making sure we were being taken care of and that the coals were still going.

We went on a late Friday night and while there was a decent amount of people, it wasn't jam packed.   It had a good atmosphere and music was streaming from pandora in the background.  The music volume was at a level where we can speak at a normal level while drowning out other people's conversations .  The lounge was clean with a nice relaxed ambience, and is a pleasant alternative to drinking at a pub.

Very nice place but its hard to find at night..

first time i tried hookah so i ask the dude who helped us he suggest the  lemon feist. i wasnt very happy coz its a lil  to harsh so i told the guy on the cashier when i was checking out and i think he's the manager or owner.. he gave me a gift card he told me to comeback whenever and he'll give us a good mix of his own..  nice dude..

if you guys  had a lil to much to eat and wanna chill and relax this is the place to go.

only one suggestion fox the light in the parking lot and put a arrow sign so ypu guys will be easy to find..  and does anybody knows what days they have the belly dancer?.. :)

This place is legit. If you want a chill place just to have some good conversation with friends and smoke a nice bowl.. this is it.

We had a really nice waiter named Scott. He let us sample some of his smoke that he was using in between customers. Kashmir Peach, Kashmir Guava, and Indian Summer. Amazing. This guy knows his stuff no doubt.

What I like about this place is that its all hookah, no frills. They have Tangiers, which if you didn't know is the top smoke you can get anywhere.. no joke, this is what I keep as my private reserve!

They serve regular sodas/teas, and they have some cool techno/trance playing in the background.

Almost 3 hours of hookah cost me $17.... way cheap! Great way to pass the time with friends.

Place is alright... Had the mango... Not very mango like... and the double apple was more like licorice. The music is random too... Anything from Aretha Franklin to Trapt.

On the good side: They keep the coals hot and the guys here were really cool.

We were actually forgot about at one point (our hookah we ordered didn't come out until we asked for it again 20 minutes later)... but the guys here righted their wrong.

This place is so phenomenal. Thanks to my sister who informed me about it. From now on, every time I am visiting the area, I will be visiting Wicked.

I am Lebanese-American, therefore, I love me some Hookah. Well, this place makes such good Hookah, it's as if I made it at home. Typically, I do not like to go out for hookah because most places pack the head tight and make it bad so you are forced to order so many so they can make their money. Wicked definitely knows how to pack a good head for hookah that can last a while and shareable with friends.

I made sure to inform everyone I know in the area to visit this great place. Thanks Wicked for a wonderful experience during my vacation.

This place is awesome. When me and my two friends decided to go on a late Friday night, we didn't think to call in advance since it was our first time and all. But when we walked in the owner approached us and told us he would have a table ready for us asap. We didn't mind waiting, but he kept reassuring us that he would have one for us. So nice. We got blue mist, which is so good. They really take care of you by changing the coals often. I love that there is a hookah place near here and we definitely will be back.

P.S. Don't get scared that it's in a sketchy plaza, it's nice and welcoming once you walk in.

Best hookah spot on the East Bay.

When I go to a hookah lounge, I look for a few key things:
Good atmosphere, quality product, great service, and reasonably priced.

    Atmosphere-
This place is rather new so it's not too busy during the week yet, but the weekends are already pop'n. The wall color, art work, tile floor, clean and comfy couches, and open layout all make a warm welcoming place. Chill music is in the background and the variety changes from song to song. I've been to sloppy loud and dirty lounges and it feels like I just can't chill, because I'm so grossed out. But not this place. Well done and nice environment.

    Product-
Everything I use for my personal hookah is top notch. Great shisha, natural coals, and an authentic well-made hookah. So coming here and seeing the same level of quality, I was really blown away. They used the same shisha, coals, and well know hookahs, together making the experience better than expected.

    Service-
The owner is really friendly. Always checking coals and making sure your satisfied. This is exactly how a place should be ran. Him and the other workers will make small talk, before checking on other customers. From talking to the owner, he has plans to host theme events, get entertainment (belly and go-go dancers), and really is talking advice from the public to see how he can improve.

    Price-
Priced exactly what I'd feel is appropriate for the quality of smoke'n you're getting.

    Tips-
They do card you, so be aware and bring your ID
    Military discount
Weekends get busy starting around 9:00-9:30, so you may have to wait if you show up later in the night. Also make a reservation for a large party, especially on a weekend.

My fiance and I dropped by this place last night. We got there around 7ish, and no one was there, but by the time we left it was packed! The hookah is awesome and the price is pretty cheap. The owner is a really nice guy and the service is awesome. We will definitely be going back soon.

BTW- Try the Flower Power. It's super smooth. :-)

    I LOVE this place!!!

Whenever my friends and I are not down to go out to the city, this is a great place to chill out and smoke.  For your hookah,  they have many different flavors to chose from.  Also, the owner is really nice and makes sure you're taken care of.  As far as pricing goes, it's really cheap.  I mean, you can be there for hours and pay under 20 bucks.  It's awesome!  I think they opened in the beginning of January and I've already been there 3 times.... YEAH!!!

I moved to Concord recently, and while my boyfriend was in town visiting me we wanted to go out late one night. Since I'm under 21 and we've been to many hookah bars, we figured Wicked Mirage would be decent since it was about 5 minutes away. We put it into the GPS and drove around but could NOT find it for the life of us. Turns out it was in the corner of a poorly lit shopping strip in a sketchy part of town.

We immediately put our guards up (and I made sure I locked my car doors about 3 times...) and as we walked up to the place, we noticed a handful of young teens walking out. 13 years old and smoking? Come on! The curtains COMPLETELY covered every single one of the windows from floor to ceiling and a neon "OPEN" sign hung in the window. We walked in to see zero open tables, and a bunch of middle-aged men smoking and giving me the pervy up-down. Yuck! We were out of there and seconds and I won't be back. I have never gotten a worse vibe from anywhere!

It looked pretty sketch judging from the outside, but as soon as I walked in I was impressed! Being a new hot spot in Concord, they got pretty busy but me and my friends were still being well taken care of. The scenery was really nice and relaxing. I enjoyed myself and they're obviously going to get a lot of business. Eddie, the owner, assured us all that we could call in advance to book a table or even just go to the website which was pretty awesome!

Wicked Mirage surprised me the moment I stepped through the door.
From the moment I sat down to the moment I left, I was definitely taken care of. I was always asked if everything was okay, and they'd constantly check my coals if they were low. They knew how to serve their customers.
This lounge really captures the essence of the social hookah image. The ambient lighting, and soft music makes this the perfect spot to kick back, and relax.

Check this place out! Local or not, If you're looking for a place to chill, socialize and hookah, Wicked Mirage won't disappoint!

I've been to many hookah bars in my days, but this one is definantly one of the most relaxing. Chill music, extremely friendly service, and bathrooms! We got there really late for my birthday, but they didn't rush us out after they were closed which I was very thankful for.

We need to get them more business! They're new to the Concord area, and the ONLY one so far. :D
