Wild Goose Tavern

I went for the first time yesterday for lunch and had a patty melt and it was extremely good. The service was excellent. A little pricy but worth it.

Cilantro Caprese burger is to die for!
Also the mango habanero margarita is a hit!
Been here a handful of times
On occasion, one or two of the female bartenders are a little rude..

I'm a little bit in love with this place. And I have a feeling the love is just going to grow..

Wild Goose has a nice gastro pub la di without the da feel. It's one of those places that you find new and interesting food but without the pretentiousness of being at those kinds of places. They have jazzy items on their menu but everything is served in a burger or dog form. But where else can I find a Peppadew Burger. What is a peppadew you ask? It's a pickle pepper that has subtle heat and sweetness like a tomato. Their peppadew burger came with arugula, oven dried tomatoes (which was pretty much like sun dried tomatoes), sprouts and a garlic aioli. I mean, come on! Flavor explosion in your mouth! And everything was so harmonious.

Their menu is small but that just makes figuring out what you want a lot easier. Their cocktails come at a premium price though.  Foo foo drinks range from $12-$16, which is a little steep for this type of atmosphere but they all sounded so fun and interesting. Unfortunately I wasn't in the cocktail mood and settled for an Allagash White. All their draft beers are craft beers which is nice since most places only do domestic drafts.

I'll be back for Taco Tuesday one day. They have good specials and our waitress, Taylor, who was awesome by the way, swore by their awesome Taco Tuesday.
