Billy's at the Beach

I like this place for the ambience & Mai Tai's. They have interesting glasses that they bring your drinks in as well.

One thing I don't like about Billy's is the forced valet. Although they may be in Newport Beach on PCH, they're not posh.

If you like frou frou drinks with lots of juice and coconut shit on it, this might be the place for you. If you're a young girl looking for an older rich man to woo you, this might be the place to go. We came here on accident and noticed that there are a lot of older generations here, which is fine. It's not a party bar, but their drinks are tasty, if you like those kind of sweeter, chilling drinks.

The crowd is pretty relaxed so there's less bullshit here. We got NO food here, just drinks so it was decent. Service is fine. Prices are steep, and there's only valet. Nice view though.

This is really one of my "ambience favs" in Newport Beach.  It's right off PCH.  If you are in Newport, don't miss this one.  Stop in for a cocktail and some good conversation.  They often have a band playing some soft tunes in there, which just makes it real nice.  As far as "views" are concerned, aside from Newport Landing in Balboa, (on the peninsula) I don't think you will beat this.
