    Great food!   We come here for lunch about once a month and are never disappointed.   The General chicken is tops.   Always crispy but moist and delicious.   Lots of food fairly priced.

    We order carry out all the time. Our quirky special requests and substitutions are never a problem. Huge fan.

    I recently went to visit again as I was in town for Thanksgiving weekend. The almond chicken was tasty. The chicken was crunchy and the sauce was adequately seasoned.

    I disagree with the suggestion that this place is inconsistent. I've been eating at Wing Lee for 30-odd years, and it has always remained one of my favorites.  I grew up on their Almond Chicken, but Sesame Chicken is a new favorite as well.  Egg rolls are fantastic. And they do a steady stream of carryout business. This is a safe bet for reliably good Chinese food.

    I absolutely love Wing Lee! Their food is delicious. One thing I was disappointed with was the Crab Rangoon, though. There wasn't as much filling as I would hope there would be. :/ I felt like I was eating more wrapper, less filling.

    I work down the street and frequently order here. I always go for my favorite-General Tsao. Although they could make it a tad spicier for my taste, no real complaints here. Wing Lee is very clean and it's great that they have free Wifi with the password on the tables for customers. The waitstaff are friendly and quick. One time as I came in to grab my order, I saw one of the kitchen staff peeling snow peas on a table in one of the banquet room. Talk about fresh lol.

    My co-workers and I always order from Wing Lee since we work so close by. I always order the #2 combination - Sweet and Sour Chicken with fried rice. It comes with an egg roll, which I personally don't like (mainly because there's only bean sprouts in there! And no baby shrimp or pork). I like to order the spring roll (it has fresher vegetables than the bean sprouts and is still nice and crispy). The combination comes with large pieces of chicken and they are very generous in filling up the box full of rice and chicken. I can never eat a whole combination by myself! I could order one combination and it could feed me for lunch AND dinner! It's only about 6 bucks, which is a lot cheaper than the normal Chinese places.

    Didn't finish my meal.

    Just ordered carry-out from Wing Lee.  After reading a couple of good reviews, it sounded like the right choice for my mother and I tonight.  I think frozen chineese would have been more satisfying.  Secondly, the lady who took my order refused to substitute a crab rangoon for the eggroll that came with my combination (I asked because of the multiple poor ratings their eggrolls received here on Yelp).  I'm paying $10 for a combo and you can't substitute one cheapie for another?  Ok.  So customer service sucks.  As for the food;

    General Tsao Chicken- Soggy.  I also ordered it extra spicy and it was not even mildly spiced.  The peices of chicken were too large.  The sauce likely came from a bottle or can.  The eggroll was just as others on here have described- poor.

    Cashew Chicken-  Or should I say cashew vegetables.  A miniscule amount of meat in this dish.  Flavor was ok.  Not worth paying $10 for vegetables soaked in brown gravy.

    I will not be back.

    I've been eating Wing Lee since I was a kid, same owners the entire time. I've always a good meals. I always go wing Almond Boneless, or the Sweet N Sour, Fried Rice is good. The Egg Rolls are nothing to write home about.

    They did a inside renovations a few years back, I always grab a carryout, but it's nice inside.

    I personally have not met one person who does not like the food at Wing Lee.

    It's always difficult to find a consistent Chinese restaurant that's close to the house. I've tried a number in the area and most are just OK. Not terrible but not great. I guess that's why Pei Wei and P.F. Changs are popular. They might not be the best or most authentic chinese restaurants but they are relatively consistent and better than average.

    I was hopeful that Wing Lee would break the mold of average local chinese fare. Unfortunately there isn't a lot to like here. We ordered Chicken LoMein and Chicken with Peapods. We ended up with Chow instead of Lo. When we called and they didn't offer to remake the dish they only offered to boil us some LoMein noodles that we could mix in with the Chow Mein. Now I know the dishes aren't that different but I just thought that was bad form. To make matters worse the food was pretty terrible in general. The sauce was clumpy and slimy, just way over starched. The chicken was a bit narly and the peapods were over cooked and soggy. The egg roll was no better. This was also way over cooked. There was almost nothing identifiable on the inside. The bean sprouts were so deflated they looked like corn silk or something.  Needless to say this is one restaurant I would recommend avoiding.

    If you are looking for great Americanized Chinese food look here. Its nothing fancy but its great comfort food. I have had almost everything on the menu and never been disappointed. I will say the egg rolls aren't the best I've ever had but the rest of the food really makes up for it. My recommendation: try the Almond Chicken (#5 combo)
