Bangkok Cuisine Express

i have gone to this restaurant since they opened. (less often recently since one opened closer to my house) and i have never had a bad experience here. staff is always nice, food is excellent. i tested out many thai restaurants before eating here, and once i did it instantly became my favorite.

The best Thai food I've had in the Clinton Township/Macomb area.  No, the interior is not set up for fancy dining, but that wasn't what it was intended for.  The cooks know the proper way to grill eggplant and TOFU (not mushy) and their Pad Ped is to die for.  The Pad Thai is a bit on the sweeter side, yes, but if you're looking for something more exciting or new to try, this place is your best bet!  

Oh, and although there is no wait staff, food IS served to you after you are seated, and the staff is always incredibly friendly.

My mom was in from out of town and she loves Thai food so I brought her here for carry out. We split Pad Thai and the fried shrimp appetizer. I also ordered my favorite, Tom Yum.

The only thing that was great was the shrimp. The Tom Yum was so oily I had to use a paper towel to soak some of the grease off and the Pad Thai was sweet, as if it had a lot of sugar in it, it was very strange and a total disappointment.

This update warrants less than 3 stars but my first experience was so good I'm going to give it another shot.

If there's one thing I hate in a restaurant it's inconsistency.
