FUN
It is always packed for a Philly sports game and VERY loud.
The staff is very nice and they check up on us often. Â
Their food is great and the prices are reasonable. Their nachos are the best I've had at a restaurant/sports bar! I highly recommend trying those out.
The beer is great. They have a lot of specials for happy hour and sports games and that is always a plus. I personally like their monster mug specials!!
If you're looking for a fun time, definitely try it out!
my wife and I stopped at the circle today for a late lunch. the hostess was not very friendly when she came to greet us. it seemed as if here conversation with another waitress was more important than seating us. the waitress was friendly and brought us our beers very quickly.(there was very few people there) we both had a burger....my burger was ordered medium and came out burnt. my wife had ordered a medium burger and it was red rare.they were finally fixed but we waited over 20 minutes to finally get our lunch .not very good for a casual sports bar.
Review Source:I've only been to Winner's Circle once, but enjoyed the food and experience.
We had the cheesesteak eggroll appetizer, which was very tasty with the poblano ketchup.
For my meal, I ordered the roast beef sandwich. Â It was juicy and BIG. Â I substituted for the sweet potato fries, which I noticed for the appetizer come with a marshmallow dipping sauce, but I wasn't served any with my meal. Â I asked the waitress about it and she brought it for me anyway at no additional charge. Â It's an interesting combination and tasted good.
Winner's Circle seems like a decent place to watch some games, though none were on when we were there so it's hard to say. Â Each table has its own speaker system where you can select which game/TV you want to hear.
The service was excellent. Â Our waitress was very friendly and seemed eager to please. Â I hope to get her again if I return.
Went here on a friday night for some food and drinks. When we got there, the bar was full so we decided to sit at a table and wait for it to clear out a bit. This place is more of a restaurant than a bar, and the waiting staff is definitely not the best I've dealt with. The only thing that really saves this place is the beer selection, and a fantastic bar staff. All in all it's a pretty good bar attached to a sub-par sports-themed restaurant.
Review Source:Came here instead of the franchise across the lot- Cheeseburger in Paradise. Â I read the reviews there first because I recieved a 20% off coupon from the hotel. Â Based on reviews I was coming here. Â So far, good tap beer, not a franchise feel and quiet. Oh, and no endless Jimmy Buffet. Â That probably would have made me gag before a crappy meal was served. Â
Ordered salmon. Surprised to get a fancy restaurant sized portion of salmon and au gratin potatoes. Â Biggest portion was green beans. Guess it's best that I didn't stuff myself. Â Tasty and satisfying. Â
After my meal, did I stay? Nah. Â Kind of not happening which I found strange considering it was MNF and past 8pm. Â My verdict, a real good place if you are staying at the Holiday Inn Express across the parking lot.
My wife and I stop in here pretty often. Â It's a great place to eat a burger and grab a beer. Â The fare is pretty standard, but I really like that they don't blare loud music and TVs at you like some neighboring restaurants. Â We can actually watch a game and still hear each other speak.
Service is always prompt and pleasant, and the place is kept clean and smoke free. Â It's a good family friendly establishment. Â I recommend for a relaxed night out, or if you just can't figure out what to feed the kids.
Was in Exton for work reasons earlier this year and well, The Winners Circle was basically in the same parking lot.
I was introduced to Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout here. And Troegs.
Food was basic sports bar quality, but certainly on the "good" side of the scale. The beer selection totally makes it special though. Great place, and I will stop here the next time I come to PA
The service was fast and the food was great. Â Had the Chicken Sandwich and it was great. Â Bacon and American cheese. Â Came with spicy honey mustard on the side that was better than expected and the fries were solid as well. Â
Kids food was great as well. Â Children had ribs and a pizza. Â Both were great.
Lots of TVs and a good bar. Â Very family friendly place. Â Will eat here again.
WCSG is what you'd expect in a local sports bar. Â Food likewise is sports bar fare. Â Sandwiches, burgers, pizza, wings, etc. Â You can order off the Riverstone menu if you ask.
Many flat screen TVs and two projectors and their new system allows any TV to be set to specific programming.
Staff is good, specials during the week, especially during races, Phillies, Flyers, Eagles, etc.
Not the only game in town with recent chains, but still a solid local stop.
On a sports bar scale of 1-5 definitely a 4.
I go to a sports bar for a simple reason...enjoy a few beers with good friends while watching the game.
Great selection of beers....check  (they even have one of my wife's favorites....Purple Haze)
More TVs then a Best Buy store....check
Tasty bar food (love the Nachos).....check
My only wish is they had one more pool table in the backroom, but its a sports bar not a pool hall so I will let this one slide.
By The Way: Â for those of you who host live fantasy football, baseball, etc drafts Winner Circle is a great spot. Â There is a semi private backroom where you draft and you usually get a beer/wing special for the group.
This is a fun place to eat. So many TV"s, so little time! If you have kids, bring them here - the place is so loud that no one will hear them scream or throw a tantrum. In the back, there's a game room area where kids can play and waste money on junk.
The food - I have never had a bad meal here. The service is always super fast too. Their nachos are delicious and piled high. The best part - they have an awesome kid's menu. I think it's the best in the area. Each kid gets an entree, 2 sides, and ice cream for $6. Yes, you even get sides with the mac and cheese (parents, you know what I am talking about).
The decor is fun and the place gets crowded during big games or weekend nights, so go early if you don't want to wait. Decent beer selection - you will find something you like.
Good hamburgers and fries. Lot's of TV's for watching a multitude of events at one time. Packed on big game nights so get there early. Fun place to hang out, lots of kids at dinner time. Packed with sports memorabilia. Nice outside seating.
Quick tip: They are sister restaurants with the upscale place next door (river rock, river creek, rock river?) and you can order off their menu, just ask.
Now why did I let them convince me to buy into the big mug club? How many of these big mug clubs have I joined now? When will I learn? So, I save $0.25 on a beer now? Wow. And bonus I get to carry the mug back and forth? No officer, I finished this beer BEFORE I left the Winner's Circle... Sorry, I'm off on a tangent.
Staff is friendly, too!
Went there initially for drinks, but decided to order food later.
Got the Guacamole chicken wrap: YUM! Â Was so surprised at how fresh the guacamole was, the generous portions of chicken and the fries were very addicting.
Not so much a fan of the decor, but what do you expect when 2 guys drag you to a sports bar?
Service however was horrible especially since it wasn't even busy
Winner's Circle is your typical sports bar; signed jerseys and posters, lots of TVs with every sports channel out there, and of course one or two TVs with Sponge Bob or some other kids show on. They have lots of great beers both on tap and on bottle so if you are a beer connoisseur you will surely find something to your liking. Â I recommend giving Leinenkugel a try, it's a very different, fruity (no not THAT kind of fruity) beer. Â Not your average Miller Lite.
Food-wise the place is also good. Â It's your typical wings-burgers-and-nachos-type of place. Â All the times I've been there I have yet to have a bad meal. Â I can recommend the buffalo chicken salad and the nachos highly as both are great. Â
They also have party room in the back with a bunch of machines and games so it's a great place to come, if it's not too crowded, with kids and let them run around back and work some energy off! Â The outdoor part is also nice on those warmer nights, there are TVs out there as well.
I'm not generally a fan of sports bars since I'm fully capable on my own of preparing the sort of food you get at such places. I'm also fully capable of purchasing and pouring my favorite beer into a pint glass. Usually both of these can be done for significantly less cost than going to a sports bar. By doing my best to avoid sports bars I can save money and actually go see a game in person.
But every once in a while, it's fun to gather with a bunch of people to watch a game that you might not get on TV at home or going to watch a special event. Winner's Circle in Exton is just the kind of place to do such a thing.
What separates Winner's Circle from most sports bars is the menu. It is creative and well-executed. For snacking, you can't go wrong with the nachos or wings; typical sports bar fare but Winner's Circle does them very well. Moving on, Winner's Circle has an eclectic variety of sandwiches that change from time to time, many of them having names inspired by Philadelphia sports lore. My favorite was named "The Freak" after Jevon Kearse, who turned out to be a huge failure in Philly. The sandwich, however, was a total success: a combination of grilled sausage, hamburger patties, and pulled pork on a hoagie roll with tomato, lettuce, hot peppers, etc. Unfortunately they didn't have it on the menu last time I visited. The personal pizzas are surprisingly good-- I found the Steak and Portabella pie to be thoroughly enjoyable. The selection of entrees offers items such as salmon, fajitas, or chicken pot pie for the more sophisticated palate (or maybe just to keep the women happy). I have to say the meat loaf is pretty damn tasty.
As far as liquid sustenance is concerned, Winner's Circle offers a pretty impressive array of brews. From Bud Light to Chimay (you don't see that at many sports bars), everyone should be able to get a beer of their liking.
Yes, the decor is unabashedly sports bar kitsch--way too much memorabilia scattered amongst an obscene number of televisions. The service has been reliably pleasant and the servers are generally good on getting into the spirit.
I suppose the best way to end this review is some sort of play on words such as  "Chalk up a victory for Winner's Circle" or maybe "No one loses when they go to Winner's Circle." Perhaps "Compared to Winner's Circle, all other sports bars are square losers".... yeah, I think I'll go with that.
