  I love the pizza overall, but about half the time they either fail to dock the dough or tend to the pizza while cooking, so our pizza ends up with huge dough bubbles. It's still the best in town, though. Great salads too.

  This place is great. NY style pizza that is a breath of fresh air to terre haute which lacks any decent locally owned pizza joints. The owner is extremely nice. One time I ordered and realized I forgot my wallet. I apologized and did the walk of shame out the door and the owner chased us down the street with two piping hot slices for my fiancee and I. Told us pay us back when next time your in the area and we did. How cool is that?

  What can I say about Wise Pies...it just happens to be my favorite pizza in the area. I am currently a student in the area and when it comes to getting a slice or a whole pie...Wise Pies gets my bid. The ingredients are the freshest and the end results are always prime. Not to mention their location is primo, right downtown and they have awesome covered outdoor seating now...and for the price you just can't beat it. I would pay much more than I do for the food. TWO THUMBS UP!

  I'm impressed.  For a small town, this is very good pizza.  I found this place on Yelp, ordered take out: their "WOW" specialty x-large pizza with several vegetarian toppings, large greek salads and bread sticks.  Took about 15 minutes for pick up.  Great smell and taste, fresh ingredients, great value.  Far better than any national chain pizza shop and rivals some found in larger cities.

  Ate there last night for the first time. I was impressed.  The Calzone was hot, fresh made and the crust was just chewy enough.  It could have used more filling - just a sparce bit of ham and black olives.  The red dipping sauce had good flavor.  My wife had the spinach/feta slice pizza.  It looked a bit old but she said it was good. Cooked and reheat along with my calzone.  
  Don't go downtown much - not much there to draw me.  But this place will get me back,  you can sit outside, inside at table or at a wall counter.  Decor is nice with b/w historic pictures and red/whte colors.
  Good Stuff, oh check out the tats on the staff.

  Best Pizza in Terre Haute, period.  Farm & Finch's in Bloomington and Some Guys in Indy a notch above but for this area there is no other choice.

  I love this place!  The pizza is great and the staff is helpful.  It is counter service but the staff will bring your food out and get you refills when they can.  Since they are open till 10 on weeknights it works perfect with my schedule, I can race there after work and still find a slice or two.  Price is right for two slices and a drink or a slice, a small salad and a drink, either one for $5.99
