This use to be Joe's Original, but is under new ownership now.
If you are looking for a bite to eat, there are better places around. Â I should have realized when I did not see anyone else eating that this placed focused more on the "bar" than the "grille". Â
The waitress was quick to ask about drink orders. Â We asked for menus. Â She had to go look for one. Â She brought us just one (when there were two of us) and walked away to go get the drink orders. Â We asked for another menu when she returned with the drinks. Â She shared that the menus were hard to come by. Â She did go search for a second menu after we asked for it.
I ordered the daily special, Italian Grinder with fries. Â I asked if they leave the banana peppers off. Â She assured me they would. Â Guess what I got? Â Banana peppers. Â The sub was lukewarm. Â Â The fries were seasoned. Â Drinks ran empty. Â Waitress was clear across the bar assisting someone else. Â My friend had the wings and said they were "okay". Â
After eating, she asked how was it. Â Told her it was "okay". Â Waitress a little surprisingly commented, "Just okay?" Â And, then she quickly added "Well, it's bar food" and then went to ring out the bill. Â It was an inexpensive meal. Â Needless to say, service left much to be desired.
The place is much the same as it previous layout. Â Lots of TV's for watching a game. Â So, if you are looking to go out with a group of friends and drink, it could be a fun place, just don't count on responsive service. Â And, after all, "it's bar food".
Let me say- one of the best things about this bar is the owner Katie- she really cares about the whole experience.  So for our group it was a big win when we found out Avg Joes had become Yogi's.  The food and service are great.  My only issue is the music- not the tunes themselves- but the volume.  At 4:30 pm on a Friday do we really need it on overdrive? I have been in Vegas clubs with musical volumes at a lower level.  Allow us a little conversation and we will be lovin' this  place!  Also, honey mustard sauce is too heavy on the mustard. Get something sweeter :)
