The Old Bag of Nails Pub

Yeah, I am definitely a fan of this place. Its been a long time since I'd been to this place. The hubby and I stopped in here over the weekend with another couple. We had the potato skins and the breaded mushrooms for an appetizer. Our food order was taken rather quickly, but the service was slow. I will give them a little slack given that it was a Friday night when we were there. Overall the food there was very good. Just parking seemed to be a problem when we were there at dinnertime.

Well to start I have been to this one a few times. Atmosphere is a little different then the others. The building is very old and very cool inside. The crowd is a mix of hipsters, regulars and I guess old Hilliard types.

Anyway had the fried pickles and fish and chips. As always was very good. The batter was crisp and the fish was cooked perfectly. Very good service also.

Overall it is the best fish and chips you can get in Columbus and good old fashion Pub.

Have had a few different items on the menu. Love the all you can eat fish and chips. Great lobster bisque.
