I go in....a/c not working on a 90 degree + day....order beer and take out Stromboli...
proceed to listen to 2 men grunt...yes actually grunt at each other across bar multiple times.....bartender after 15 minutes tells me order ready soon.... 5 minutes later "oops sorry, they burnt your Stromboli...it will be another 10 minutes" ..... place is basically empty.... I can't wait and get up to leave...that will be $3.25 for the beer.... you have got to be kidding me....stay away
All Your Places are known for the worst service at any existing restaurant. Â The Hershey one is no exception. Â I don't know why this is since there are waitresses there just like any restaurant. Â Do they tell them to be pitiful? Â I do recommend you get only Stromboli or pizza here. Â The pizza buffet is usually pretty good actually. The wings are pretty good also. Drink beer and eat Stromboli or pizza and be a patient person and you will be ok here. Â If you are expecting anything else I do not recommend you go here.
Review Source:Do yourself a favor. Do not go here.
This was by far the worst service that I have ever received on a simple pick up of a carry out order.
I was left standing at the counter for 2 min. while a male and a female spoke loudly to each other about something sexual behind the counter. When the male approached the cash register, he just looked at me and said nothing. I told me my order number, handed him my card and was handed the receipt. I signed the receipt, handed it back, and he still has not said anything.
He handed me the boxes, I said "Thank you" and he said "Yup". Great people skills pal.
Customer service was not the only negative experience. I had ordered wings and Stromboli. From what their website states, their stromboli is amazing, and you can get it delivered everywhere, so if you have moved from the area, you can still enjoy their stromboli.
I have had better stromboli from the frozen section of my local grocery store. The sausage in side the stromboli was basically the same texture and taste as the over processed sausage on frozen pizzas. The other meat inside was sandwich, sliced thin, and stacked even thinner. There was not enough filling for the amount of dough in this boli.
Also, the amount of sauce served is enough for one slice of this "semi- stuffed" bread.
The wings were not horrible, but for hot wings they did not have much flavor or heat.
I will never return here. I have no idea how much people are drinking at this place to give it a positive review.
Good food great variety. Â We tried the crab dip, nachos and wings. Â Enjoyed it and it was generous servings. Â Went there again the next day to watch the game and they bring you little speakers to put on your table so you can hear the game. Â They were accommodating and the food again was good.
Review Source:I was part of a group of three, when we arrived a large group was being served their food. We waited about 5 minutes to be seated while the waitress entered their order. When she had finished she told us to just sit over by the fire place. We took a booth and began to look over the menu. A couple minutes later a group of medical students came in and  were seated,  drink orders taken and served their drunks. Still no one  even acknowledged us.
I began pulling up you tube videos to entertain my party. After 5 more minutes we got up and left.
Will not return.
So, let's make this review fun and have a Pros & Cons list:
Pros:
...Across the street from the medical campus? Â check
...Sells beers by the 6-pack? Â check
Cons:
....Townies? Â check
....Poor, almost non-existant service? Â check
....Ugly setting and uncomfortable seating? Â check
....Bad food? Â triple check!
I love the stromboli here! It's made with mustard, but so worth the try for anyone who likes stromboli or pizza.
The $6.95 lunch buffet is a great option, and the chicken pot pie at the buffet is perfect!
They could do a little better on service and friendliness (they often staff one waitress for the entire lunch shift to wait 10 tables or more, so it can take a while).
I actually went there a while back when my brother bought me a gift certificate. It covered lunch for my wife and i. i had some of whats called "YP focaccia bread" tasted alright, my wife had chicken breast salad & oven roasted roma sand., i think. It was alright, it sounded better than it tasted. the restaurant itself was nice and clean, but was virtually deserted, our waiter was friendly, but was having a conversation with the bartender, about video games & stuff, i didnt really care to hear him over my lunch. all in all it was OK. I would go back if it was free, but otherwise i think im going to pass.
Review Source:I'm not the biggest fan of Your Place. Â YP burned down a few years ago, and I'm not so sure it was a good idea to rebuild the place. It does look a little fancier now, but the food is no better and I'm not a huge fan of the scene. I do have to give it to them that they have a solid beer selection and good specials. And some of the food is OK, but it's mostly hit-or-miss. The ridiculous thing is that they refuse to seat an over-21 person who is drinking with any under-21 people. God forbid my friend's 20-year-old girlfriend WATCH me drink a beer - it might scar her for life! The wait staff is also pretty rude all-around and unwilling to compromise on such stupid rules. Of course they have no problem if I sit at my own table three feet away and down half a keg's worth. The other problem I have with this place is the confusing name. When a friend says, "I'll meet you at Your Place," how are you supposed to know whether he/she means the restaurant or your actual house? I do not know of a good way to determine which one somebody is talking about, so you usually just have to guess and will be wrong 50% of the time. If there was ever a "Who's on First?" type routine involving Hershey and Hummelstown, this place will definitely find its way into that ol' chestnut.
Review Source:I wouldn't call it a Dive but it definitely has Dive food. It is a far nicer restaurant than first appearances let you believe. Actually there was a family in there celebrating a grandmas BDay with little kids. Â At the bar area there were some smokers next to some college kids playing pool, so you can see the dichotomy(big word, I know).
Food was surprisingly good but you could tell everything came pre-made(not by my impecable pallate but by our waiter letting us know after every order) and they basically heated it up. Din't have the wings but I regret that decision to this day because of the couple next to us(could they have really been that good?)
The only issue that we had is that our waiter(God bless the big galoote) was so bad at his job you had to question if they hired the challeneged. He was the sweatest person and probably just bad at his job so I wouldn't take it out on him like I would in any other establishment.
All in all.......Your in Hershey, get over it and eat the dayum food.
