I have been to Ted's twice since the remodel. The first trip was fun. It's not fresh prime rib so if you're picky, avoid that, but everything else was pretty good.
Last night we went hoping to catch the hockey game but the bar was full. The hostess, an older lady, would not give us a table because we explained we had already eaten we were just there for drinks and hockey. Â
We left disappointed and a bit upset because we were with my elderly in-laws who had just driven from Florida.
We ended up spending 80 dollars at Aroogas and enjoying the game.
Sorry, Ted's, you're now behind Aroogas and that's pretty low in our book.
Really good wings and the other food is pretty good too, but not great.
This is a good place to go out with some friends and drink the night away. Sometimes they have live entertainment too, which is fun, but can make the place a bit too crowded and loud. (it's not the biggest seating area.)
The only other (minor) complaint is the decor... This place seems like it's not sure if it's trying to be a sports bar or a greek restaurant, it has an odd mix of both. The front area is strictly sports bar while the back has that greek restaurant feel. Like I said, minor complaint.
The staff is always friendly and helpful and meals (and beer) are served in a timely fashion.
