Pizza is AMAZING!!! 5 stars!!! The price on the other hand is a little bit high, 20 bucks for a 16 two topping new york style pizza is a couple bucks more than I think it should be. But the staff are extremely friendly and professional. They call you by name and refill your drinks promptly. Quiet atmosphere, nice and bright, very homey. Billiards is a big plus. So all in all I would say the TOTAL experience is worth 20 bucks, just not the pizza alone.
Review Source:This is my first Yelp review after being a long time user, and Yummy Pizza definitely deserves all the kudos you read here. We were just passing through on I-80 and got off in bad weather. As we were looking for a hotel, I spotted Yummy Pizza and my spider senses tingled. What an aptly named place! Within approximately 30 minutes of placing our order, our delivery arrived piping hot at our hotel: a pepperoni pizza for the kid, spaghetti and meatballs for my husband, and an unbelieveably delicious spinach and cheese calzone for me (called a "pizza pocket" here). Where to start? Fantastic NY style pizza with great crust and solid sauce, excellent meatballs, and my calzone... garlicy, cheesy, spinach goodness that I wish were just a little closer to our home in Maryland! Â Thank you, Yummy Pizza! We miss you and thank you for delivering our hot yummy food on such a stormy night. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely make another stop.
Review Source:This is a solid pizza place. Â I go through periods when I get pizza here every week or so, so I've tried it often. Â While it is NY style, it bears saying that (for better or worse), the pizza is not as greasy. Â They must use a lowfat mozzarella here, because there's no occasion to sop up fats from the top. Â I actually would prefer the greasier style, but this place is, all the same, a great addition to the area.
Also, while I normally carry out, it's important to note that dining is great with kids and whoever else likes electronic skill and video games, a pool table, etc. Â This is a GREAT place to go where adults can sit around and chat and have worthy food while the kids can go off and have fun without getting out of sight.
We recently tried Yummy Pizza after driving by it for the past few years. I was AWESOME. Some of the best pizza in the area. The pizza is NY style with a semi thin crust, simple but excellent sauce and really good cheese. Their homemade breadsticks are great as well. They are about 12" long and come with either garlic butter or marinara sauce for dipping.
The actual restaurant itself, isn't anything special. There are about 20 or so small tables and a few arcade games for kids.
All in all I would highly recommend Yummy Pizza to friends!
