This place used to be good, but it pretty much always smells like urine and vomit and has really lost it's charm.

Here's my review from January '06:
A Mardi Gras themed bar right on Dickson Street, between Condom Sense and The Common Grounds.
This place offers some of the best drink specials in town throughout the week, and free popcorn, which actually complements beer quite nicely. Â The service is very good, especially if you make an effort to know the staff. Â They'll treat you well even when the place is full.
The floor space is small, and, on weekends, it's often difficult to walk through, but, unlike in some bars, the people are nice enough to move out of your way. Â This general kindness also extends to its social policy: you're welcome as long as you think everyone else is. People have been asked to leave for bigoted comments and behavior, and the place has an inaccurate reputation as a gay bar just because they refuse to marginalize any of their customers.
Seating is very limited, and the music isn't top-notch, but it's the perfect place to go for a quick round of drinks with your friends before seeing what the rest of the night has to offer.
