I waited soo long to try the thin crust pizza.. drove by it a million times before finally i called and ordered a thin crust cheese... so excited to try it...
I have to say, I was disappointed..only the crust was crispy.. the rest of the pizza was soft... A THIN CRUST PIZZA..must have the  crispyness go from crust to the tip of the slice.. the flavoring was a little bland for me...I kept trying to eat it to taste it, but no luck..so sad.. cause they are right around the corner..I will try other things next time
#31 on the Worcester Pizza Quest
(well this one is technically in Leicester but it's close to my house)
Yes I know I am reviewing the Pizza joints in Worcester but this is just outside of the city and close to where I live. After driving by the place a few times I noticed Zuzu's Pizza opened. I gave them a call because I did not feel like traveling far for pizza.
When the call was made a very friendly and happy man answered and took my order. The first impression of Zuzu's was a pleasant one. The restaurant is easy to access since I already knew where it was. The building is a simple white shop and could easily be missed. The outside is clean but a bit old. Before entering a person would expect the typical run down unclean interior. Well this is one of those times where that person would assume incorrectly. You enter a bright clean roomy area, the place smelled wonderful. The person at the counter was happy even excited to see me. This added to a pleasant experience buying from Zuzu's Pizza.
The pizza entered my home and was ready to eat. I ordered a large cheese and a small pepperoni, off came the lid of the large cheese. I was surprised at what I saw. A thin crust pizza! I rubbed my eyes unsure of what I saw. Yup a thin crust pizza not a Greek style. (I think I might have danced a bit in the kitchen). The first bite gave a pleasant sauce and the correct about amount of cheese. When taking that bit you learn it isn't a true thin crust it had a bit of thickness to it. The best way to explain the crust is it's a cross between thin and Greek crust pizza. It was a good pizza. Compared to most of the pizza shops in the quest Zuzu's is in the top 5 so far. I rated the place a 4 at this time because I lean more toward the thin style pizzas so I can't say it's a perfect pizza. I would recommend anyone who lives in Leicester or in the Worcester Webster Square area to drive to Zuzu's. Because so far no other pizza place in the neighborhood makes a better pizza. Maybe after reviewing a few more places it might make it to the 5 stars. Thank you Zuzu's for a good pizza.
