STAY AWAY! Â YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. Â Got takeout. Â Hubby got an eggs benedict, I got a Spanish omelette, and fried zucchini. Â We get back to our hotel and find out they put no hollandaise on the eggs benedict. Â I've had bad eggs benedict before but never have I've been served eggs benedict with no hollandaise. Â My 3 egg omelette I finished in 3 bites. Â I'm guessing there were less than 3 eggs used for that omelette. Â By the way, it wasn't really an omelette. Â My Spanish omelette was actually one scrambled egg with salsa poured over it. Â We also got no ranch for the zucchini and they gave the 2 of us only 1 set of utensils. Â So we had to take this stuff back. Â Do we get a discount...no. Â A free dessert....no. Â The freakin manager offers us a coupon for our next visit! Â Wha???!!!!???!!! Â As if I would ever set foot in there again. Â We take our food back, scarf it down, and go to bed very unsatisfied. Â I would have rated this below average even without all the screw ups. Â It's simply not good food.
Review Source:.Arrived about 10:30 p.m. on Thursday night..(suggested by hotel) Went to bar area for late night happy hour deals. Nice looking place, moderately busy. Â Waited well over 5 minutes before the server (head buried in paperwork) said she would be with us in a minute. Â This is as we were leaving to go to main restaurant. Â Main hostess was blah and slightly distracted. Â Got seated with in a minute or so. Drink order was placed right away. Â Server was Peter..as good a waiter as they come. Â Friendly, hard working., knowledgeable of the menu and paid just enough attention without hovering. Â
The food was very good. Farmers omelette was as good as it gets. A tad pricey but good sized with quality ingredients. Served in about 5 minutes of ordering.
Love the decor and the overall feeling of the place. Just shore up your bar servers and put some life in your hostess...she is the first impression of your restaurant. Â Wish I lived in Seattle just for this place. Â Thanks for the good food and dining experience
Yes, I am a BIG fan of the 13 Coins. Â Open 24 hours, they specialize in presentation cooking. Â Sit at the "bar" and watch the chefs prepare your meal. Â Its quite a show. Â My favorite dish anytime, day or night, is the Italian Sausage and Pepper Cheese Omelet. Â If you are low carb ask them to delete the hash browns and they'll cut up a fresh tomato.
Your meal is preceded by bread and oil, and a cold plate with salami and veggies as a free appetizer.
The booths are roomy and comfortable. Â Even the chairs at the bar are high backed wing style swiveling seats that afford a modicum of privacy. Â When you dine with a friend, angle the seat toward each other and they add a sense of intimacy.
On airport row in SEA, you can't go wrong with the 13 Coins.
