Perfect location and addition to slow changing Burien. Â Had a sample of a few of there items and all were great. Â Roasted chicken was seasoned perfect, served with green beans in a tomato sauce. Great value and flavor. Full bar,TV and really nice owners who understand that the area does not need another Mexican or Teriyaki restaurant.
Review Source:Located in yet another Burien strip mall and literally in the shadow of the gigantic Kentucky Fried Chicken sign of the franchise located just North of them, The Greek House provides an oasis to the pell-mell array of businesses that surround it.
There's a nice selection of custom cocktails available from said bar as well as a decent selection of beer on tap and in the bottle. Â Didn't give the wine list much attention (the Seahawks game was on cut me some slack). They have a really good tzataziki, which is a must , if you plan on surviving as a Greek restaurant. The Tyropitataki and Spanakopitakia were lovely filled triangles of golden brown phyllo heaven. Â Each were light and distinct with the flavors of feta, herbs and, in the case of the Spanakopitakia, spinach announcing themselves accordingly.
The Kotopoulo Riganato, roasted chicken in a lemon oregano jus with roasted potatoes and green beans in an onion, tomato sauce. Â Now this is good eating! Â The chicken was moist and tender and just bursting with that whole-chicken goodness.
Loukoumathes freshly fried doughnuts, drizzled with honey and accented with a little bit of powdered sugar and cinnamon are addictive, highly addictive and a terrific way to end a meal or to start one, I won't judge.
