I like the space.  Duos has a very nice patio area with plenty of seating and even though it is right next to the road, the walls seem to muffle the noise a bit.  It would be great for a evening happy hour on a nice day.  The interior is broken up in to odd spaces and I am not sure why, but it seems to work.

They seem to have a limited selection of libations at the bar, but the staples are there.  I wasn't sure who the bartender was as there were a few people mixing and serving for such a small place.

The food had highs and lows.  The portions were good for the prices.  The corn dogs are great.  You get 5 minis for $4.  They are a perfect little snack.  The calamari was no good.  It was cut into thick rings and was very rubbery.  The cauliflower and Dungeness gratin dip was good, but it was a bit oily and could have used a little more seasoning or spice, it was a little one note.

The service was friendly and prompt.

It would be a place I would try if I were in the W. Seattle area.

I've been here about 3-4 times now and felt a review was in order.
This is my kind of place!
Cool, friendly, knowledgable staff; very relaxed, stylish decor; with private, cozy seating areas; a drinker's selection of liquors at the bar; a great little patio; garage doors that go up in nice weather and some of the best appetizers I've had in a really long time. I really love this place.
As in other reviews the apps I've tried here are amazing; the sliders rock! corn dogs-delicious. Buddha roll-amazing. calamari-fantastic. etc. etc.
This place really is a must do.
The restaurant also has a wonderful, quiet seating area to the back with a table that would be perfect for a nice dinner for 8 (but could probably seat up to 20)?
If their restaurant/bar is this good, they would be a definite first choice for a catered event.
    Cannot recommend highly enough.

I came in on Sunday for brunch with friends. They have a beautiful patio but the weather was iffy so we sat inside. The interior space is great, and it's roomy, no squeezing your way between narrow table gaps just to sit down.

I got the pork chile verde. Tortillas were warm and soft, pork was delicious and tender, egg was over easy with a nice orange yolk. My friends got the steak and eggs and the pork loco moco. I stole a bite of each: The steak and eggs was good  though I'm not really a steak and eggs kinda guy. The pork loco moco, on the other hand, was amazing - super smoky and the gravy was fantastic. My chile verde was great but I know what I'm getting next time.

Ambience was great, service was great, but really I'm giving five stars because of the food quality. I feel like Seattle has this glut of brunch places that succeed mostly because they're social opportunities, or habitual for people, or just because they have the momentum of their reputation, but the food is mediocre, adequate, and people shrug it off - "Food's fine, I just come here every week after my morning run with friends" or whatever. Enough! I want delicious food for brunch as much as I do for dinner.

Duos is one of very few places in Seattle where the brunch food is really truly excellent.
